Out of the subject. But just a thought that crossed my mind while watching this video. Land in australia is pretty expensive mostly Sydney but Melbourne is up there too. Apparently he bought the house for almost $3.3mil then paid for the renovations etc

I’ve seen this house on Pinterest, before Troye Sivan bought it. It’s really nice and he kept it mostly in tact. I agree with Troye that lighting should be warm and overhead track lighting should be kept to a minimum.

It makes me laugh when people who have never watched a Troye Sivan video pick this one as their 1st because it's the most liberated of his music videos. I respect your maturity while watching it. Because, of course, not everyone feels comfortable watching "nude" content, even if they accept people's openness with their sexualities. You are correct, he is Australian and he is as you may have guessed openly gay. He initially was a CZcamsr and posted music covers on his page then transitioned to more comedic/ lifestyle advice skits in a way. He's since become not only a singer but he's also an actor and a model. I love seeing how far he's come since his early days online!
TLDR: I just further describe the controversies below, which aren't warranted.
Of course, conservatives are offended by those who are openly sexual and they freak out seeing all the nude bottoms. They think any openly gay display will corrupt their children and "turn them gay" as well. I mean if I wasn't already a part of the community who knows, this video may have converted me XD I'm only kidding, I've known since elementary school that I was. Troye literally helped me come out to the person I was most afraid to tell though!
The other controversy is that there weren't enough minorities in his music video, which is ridiculous. They shot this in Berlin. Roughly 6% of Berlin's population are mixed-race, black, etc., and 3% of their population are Asian. People forget that, while yes, sometimes people are specifically requested to be in music videos. Other times, they literally just hold open casting calls to get dancers, extras, etc. So whoever shows up can be in it, or they have to audition for it. Or they do a combination of both auditions and open casting depending on their music video role. It's kind of hard to focus on minorities if they don't show up for casting. Not even mentioning that the actors of color that were featured where in quite a few scenes whether they were featured or in the background. People are just ridiculously nitpicking.
Also, a vast majority of European countries don't have people who are overweight. Of course, I'm sure they exist somewhere overseas but I have never seen anyone in a European country that was overweight. They have WAY smaller food proportion sizes than in the US so a vast majority of their populations are on the more athletic side of the health spectrum. Take Franch as an example, they typically have tiny food proportions and small plate meals. They have smaller meals, and they exercise quite frequently because a majority walk or bike places instead of having a more sedentary lifestyle. Our proportions in the US are huge and a lot of the time we sit for a large portion of the day.
We sit in our cars to drive to work, we sit at work, we get fast-food on the way to or from work because work exhausts us to the point of not having time to cook for ourselves. Fast Food large-sized cups, depending on the drink, can have upwards of 40 grams of sugar in the cup. Men aren't supposed to have more than 36 grams of sugar in a day and women aren't supposed to have more than 26 grams of sugar in a day. That large cup has more than the daily amount in 1 drink, again it depends on the drink you choose. These numbers are according to the American Heart Association in case anyone wants to look into it to fact-check me. I've seen Europeans absolutely "jaw on the floor" shocked are our portion sizes.
So because this was in Berlin, I'm more shocked that he was able to find some of the 6% there that were not in the 82% European population or the 71% Ethnic German population. Every other percent is under 10%.
