Enjoy your trip , airport going home was quiet yesterday but no surprise to see how disorganised it was heading in as its been this way often in last year. Its a shame as Tenerife will start to lose customers especially older ones who won't risk standing for an hour to get through.
Jet2 every time, I have tried the others in the past, but Jet2 is the best. When lockdown started we had two holidays booked with them and got my refund the same day they cancelled the holidays. EXCELLENT
10:05 My favourite airline still has be jet2. My experiences with them have been fantastic. Friendly staff, little to no delays, good destinations. I fly from Manchester so they have a variety of aircraft too for example the a330 which I have recently flew to Dalaman, Turkey. But yeah Jet2 easily for me.

Hello my son flew toTenerife on 24th May from East Midlands straight through amazing my other son joined him on 27 May from Manchester on Jet 2 again a positive experience no Problems all the news coverage worried him and his partner but it was brilliant. Great video new here take care

Good to see you back, we flew out to tenerife on the 6th May, it only took 10 minutes to get thru security then on to the hard rock hotel, 👍
Just flew back yesterday after a week there, spent a week near san blas golfing, Tenerife south was easy, and very efficient, coming home and also arriving, it was Bristol airport that was the total disaster, going out and coming home, luggage was 1hr & 45 mins waiting. Total balls up in Bristol airport. From checking to leaving very poor.
Glad to see you back. We flew in from Manchester via Jet2 and flew through TFS in about 30 mins including baggage reclaim on May 6th. Looks like you were unlucky

Nearly mirroring me there Lee. I flew out of the airport about 12 hours before you arrived having come in a week before that from Glasgow. The Glasgow end was fantastic, very simple, easy and fast. Tenerife, baggage was fast but it took an hour to get through the security. People were happy enough, the new machines for scanning were slooowwww.... Hyperbole aside things are getting back to normal..though the new duty free on flying home was a surprise, total redesign!

Incredible scenes we did the same flight as Macmaster did LS633 on 14th May & when we got to Tenerife we went to a newer part of the terminal where they had passport scanners and we were through passport control within 5 mins absolutely no wait time, came back on 21st may again absolutely no queues
We had this problem last weekend. Three or four flights landed at once and just one lady organising (who did a great job to say she was on her own!)

Our flight on the same day from Birmingham was ok albeit we were all told to get there earlier because of the security queues only to be told when we got there we couldn’t check in until 2 hours before our flight 🙈( jet2) , we had paid for fast track but security queues were very small for our 15:30 flight
Hi Lee & his friends. My friend is in Tenerife atm and has lost her passport and bank cards whilst out around Veronicas last night. They're in a pink folder, surname Roche. She is currently retracing her steps and I'm hoping someone here might have handed them in. The police station isn't open until the morning so she's quite stressed out. Hope this is OK to share here Lee, just trying to help her find them whilst I'm not in Tenerife with her. Thank you 😊

Hi Lee, lovely to see you travelling again we love it! we will returning to Gran Canaria on 21st of June at long last now we lepers are allowed in again lol. Agree with you about travel times better to get an early one as you get time during the day to enjoy the Island, we have a similar flight time to yourself this time, staying for two whole weeks... cant wait. We love jet two and always book the over wing or wider seat space which makes for a much more comfortable flying experience... Been 8 months since we last went before the Spanish rules changed. We booked Saturday as soon as we heard the rule change news both of us are so exited to be going back to Gran Canaria where we love to be... Enjoy your trip Lee great seeing you in the unmasked almost normal East Midlands airport where we always fly from all the best Phil and Louise (Grimsby fish with skin on! lol)
Hi Lee, Jet2 for me as find the seats better and service always very good both via the app and during the journey. We just back from Majorca and used East Midlands airport for the first time. Have to say although busy we flew through security which is why we chose this airport over Manchester. Longest wait was in the bar upstairs as you saw also!!😂
Did manage to get a drink and food in the end, hope you have a good break but that airport in Tenerife was a joke.

Flew from Dulles, USA, to Edinburgh on United, switched to EasyJet to Cardiff, about four, years ago. Return trip, supposed to reverse that trip, but Easy Jet had grounded all their planes in Edinburgh. The staff of Easy Jet down in Cardiff, arranged for a cab to take me, along with about four or five other "overseas passengers" to Heathrow, and switch to a different flight number, even a bigger plane, a B-787, United from LHR. I Actually ended up getting back to my home airport, (about three miles from my house,) KPBG, roughly twenty minutes prior to my scheduled arrival there. They even paid for breakfast for we passengers in Cardiff, while waiting for our cab ride. Now that was a "thumbs up" trip home.
We flew from Manchester to Tenerife back in March. Both Jet2 and Easyjet fly from there. On this occasion we flew with Easyjet The last occasion, two years ago, we flew with Jet2. No problems with either of them, both great.
We went to watch the planes at Manchester Viewing park recently was good fun. Off in July. We are Jet2 but have a 10am flight so maybe the earlier ones were booked. They also had 6am or 7am I think when I booked which I only didn’t take because of the 2 kids.

I enjoy flying with Ryan air never a problem am a frequent flyer with them as my girlfriend is in Poland

Brings back memories from April this year . Been there and complete hassle trying to get through passport control and get luggage. Snails Pace Security.
On return huge queue waiting to get out. Had folk trying to jump the queue at the gates and sent to the back.

Usually fly EasyJet out of Edinburgh, seats more comfortable than Ryanair! Priced Jet2 before but found them expensive, enjoy your holiday, we're back in September for 3 and a half weeks👍😎❤
