They need to bring back lead block or make a new feature where you can chose one of the O-Line or running back to pick up the defender whose hot, instead depending on max protect and instead delay TE, need to make a chip block feature within the playmaker

I’m doing NCAA for the nostalgia but absolutely done with Madden. It’s always the same over promise and under deliver. Just watched a video of a guy going all the way back to Madden 10 and they were trying to sell us on the “hit mechanics” 😂. EA is the definition of putting lipstick on a pig.

I started playing madden in 95 when i was in the 7th grade and the last good madden was 11 and the last madden i bought was 20.
My favorite madden was 2002 with Culpepper on the over. It was all about angles & timing. There was only one wild animation with the receiver doing a flip if the defender tackled them at the top of their jump for the ball.
Simple yet complex on the sticks, that’s all I’m looking for. I hope it’s like that on ncaa bc I know madden is gone. The x-factors are a dealbreaker for me opting out. They should make a blitz if they wanna go arcade

I played the beta and i can say everything in the trailer was def in the game except justin fields gadget return... the boomstick broken tackles was the point of the physics... its tackling without wrapping up... if you played football, you know how most broken tackles happen... everything in that was exactly like the game i played

Most of the complaints (play select screen) have been confirmed to be fixed already. I had beta access, as well as a contact at EA, if you liked Madden 24 you will like Madden 25. Its that simple. Its Madden 24 with upgrades to physics/player likenesses.

Madden 24 was terrible in that aspect I could barely ever witness a one hand catch and if I ever did it was always the same animation on a highpoint pass.

You can do the 1 hand catch in the beta you just have to press LB or L1 to do it, it's a new catch button I saw people talking about it. The Mahomes throw barely happened cause people were complaining about it, in the beta last year you could do that Mahomes throw rolling out almost everytime so they made it rare and it hardly happened after that cause people were mad about it.

Difference is the Patrick mahomes animation was random and you had to be in the perfect position to get that animation. While the one hand catching is controlled by you. You have to click a set of buttons to do it.
