I'm in stage 4 lung cancer and now has metastasized to my brain. I start radiation of the whole brain this morning, without it the cancer will take my life in less than 4 weeks. I'm looking for songs to play at my funeral and this is a perfect one. Pray to God and keep the faith with him we shall be comforted. God bless you all!!!
Jodi, this is Betsy. Your comment hits hard and there are no words to convey the support I’m throwing your way. Here you are still fighting every day, you are an inspiration. Sending love, hope and peace to you and your family.
Amazing song, 2 months ago my wife went back to be with family and our Heavenly Father. Stage 4 brain cancer, now it’s me and our daughter’s ages 2 and 6. Thank you for this light at the end of a very dark tunnel and most of all we are not alone. The circumstances is universal but the journey is individual
Words have always been easy to come by… till tonight. I cried reading your message and knelt to pray for you and your girls as you navigate such loss. I hope you are afforded moments of peace😭❤️. Sending my love from Idaho.
Tears this morning listening to this powerful song! Thank each one of you for sharing your stories and faith. Such a beautiful message! And these voices together - wow!!
Bryson, I just can’t wait until it’s you that I get to work with again. Seven months later and I still get chills every time I hear you blow a note out of the water. Thank you, my friend!
Wishing I could reach through the screen and give you the warmest hug. Thinking of you Sue and wishing I could hold this for you for a time. The cost of loving well is equally bitter when we lose those we love.❤️😭
Oh you guys, I can't get through this without crying. Can anyone get through this without tears? This is so true. I know. I really do know. I love this song and the strength of those who sang it.
Thank you❤️. The individuals involved were all such beautiful people, I feel so blessed for God guided me to them. They offered up their hearts and vulnerability to make something more of this, then I could do on my own. It was a beautiful experience.❤️
Love this! Amazing work by all involved! Lyrics: Lord I try to be brave, but nothing's the same. Once filled with Your warmth and Your light, now darkness comes crashing in waves. And I keep on asking for answers to questions nobody knows. Pretend to be fine but then late in the night it shows. When all that is left is a shell, when glory and accolades all fall away, when heartbreak steps in to take up their place I still kneel down and say: I'll find You in misery, You've been there from the start. I trust that You know what You're doing- somethings we must learn in the dark. Somethings we learn in the dark! I know You've healed the lame and the blind. So I keep praying for hope and relief through patience and time. Still I just can't seem to quiet the fear in the back of my mind. I keep on wondering if it's the lack of my faith keeping You from my side. When all that is left is a shell, when glory and accolades all fall away, when heartbreak steps in to take up their place I still kneel down and say: I'll find You in misery [I’ll find You in misery] You’ve been there from the start I trust that You know what You're doing- somethings we must learn in the dark. Somethings we learn in the dark! Lord I know that my life is the work of Your constant and steady hand. I will trust in Your sight when the things in my life don't make sense. They don't make sense They don't make sense Lord I see You in the waiting Lord I feel You in the aching Lord I see You Lord I still see You And I see You too, yeah I still see You in the aching Lord I see You Lord I still see You Lord I see You in the aching Somethings we learn, somethings we learn in the dark! Lord I see You in the aching Somethings we learn in the dark! Somethings we learn Somethings we learn I’ll find You in misery, You’ve been there from the start! Lord I can feel You Somethings we learn Somethings we learn Somethings we learn Lord I see You in the waiting I trust that You know what You’re doing- somethings we must learn in the dark. Somethings we learn in the dark.
