Zenith Watches introduces the El Primero Defy 21 at Baselworld 2017

- The high frequency El Primero movement is a legend of its own, but now Zenith have pushed the boundaries further with the introduction of the El Primero 21. This movement still beats at 5 Hertz, but a second escapement has been added beating at 50 Hertz dedicated to the chronograph function precise to the 1/100th of a second!

What a character! He's awesome! I would buy an ice cube in Antarctica from this gentleman. He's so active and modern and his age disappears in front of his personality. He stated the average price of his three brands and it was so open and direct that almost killed me, haha... I'm salivating watching these Zenith timepieces. Cracking video indeed!

I just bought one yesterday (the skeleton in black titanium) and for those that truly love and understand what is going on is probably one of a kind in my collection. What a WATCH! The Chrono is juts crazy. Tks Mr JCB!

I'd rather have a Zenith than a Hublot and its crazy to think Zenith is below Hublot

Kevin C I feel the same, man. They just want to elevate the newcomer Hublot and put it on some pedestal. They forget that status and heritage of a brand has to be earned and cultivated and backed by rich history. I HATE HUBLOT.

I actualli was in the shop today for a El Primero original 1969 38mm but sadly my wrist is to big for a 38mm. Perhaps I get lucky and there is something new for me in June.

The El Primero is an icon, both the watch and the movement. Hublot is a confused brand that can't decided if it wants to be an AP Royal Oak or a Patek Nautilus.
When will Zenith release their revolutionary new watch? :)

The El Primero 21 is very interesting. Wish they would put it in the Chronomaster case instead. Not a fan of the new case design.

le compteur des secondes est traînant...Celui des minutes est sautant...Mais malheureusement il saute trop vite...Et on trouve le moyen d'afficher mécaniquement le 1/100 de secondes avec une minute de trop...Juste hallucinant !

Average 20000 hublot sound like bulshit, that could be the avg made of the model prices, taking ferraris and tourbillon editions, but not the average price of sold units. No way.
