Lil Dicky is my favorite right now, next to Kendrick. He's so clever and nerdy, I think that he really plays off of his timid nature a lot, kinda like a sleeper, because he really fuckin goes in on his album. Not all of his shit is him saying funny stuff as well, he has a few songs where he gets pretty emotional! Love the reactions and your analysis of his wordplay, refreshing to see a quality reaction video these days. Keep em coming!

Thanks bro! But honestly it's not about catching every line with us though (especially on a first listen). We more so give our thoughts/analysis on the artist and the freestyle/song as a whole. If we wanted to catch and breakdown every line this would be a 30 minute video.

Yes, professional rapper is his big release, and it seems like he's had thoughts like yours in his mind while making the album, as the pacing of it is great.
Hit you with the comedy, then bars, then comedy, then real stuff, then comedy, and so on. It hits this flow of not feeling stale, or being just him clowning for ten tracks in a row.
Highly recommended (except for the long outros on the last two tracks).

You guys should check out "The Antagonist" off of his album. In my opinion, it's his best song lyrically outside of Russell Westbrook on a Farm. I think you'd really enjoy it.

In my opinion, the album is good, but you are able to see his real talent through his videos. He is good at painting a picture through his music, but he furthers it with his creative videos. You should enjoy the album due to the fact that it's something creative and well produced, but I don't know if it's something that you will put on repeat.

Hey OP, I dont disagree, but as an LD fan my take on it is a little different; His album work shows his true talent and the videos are "just" for mass-appeal. As he says in his 2019 Sway freestyle, something like ~ "All my fans are gettin' mad at me, they just wanna hear me spazzin' out, but I just had to put a couple smashes out"... [I think] He's spoke on it a few times how it's a double edged sword type thing where he's known for the pop/viral hits and it gets his name put there for new people to discover him, then when digging deeper into his discography and his album work it shows his real wider talent as a actually super dope rapper, yet at the same time those hits are why so many in hip-hop dont take him seriously.

Somebody you should REALLY check out is Tonedeff. he's super underground... so dont expect this to make top comment or anything... but once you hear him, you'll legitamitely feel bad for not knowing sooner. He does it all: You want something with ridiculous flow?, check out "Heavyweight"; you want somethig with a great story? (and flow, singing, and piano playing) check out "Porcelain". You want something that is criminally new, unique, and original? check out his track "Competitive Nature". Dont expect him to get a ton of views, but if you truly want to find good music and good artists, then you won't regret Tonedeff.

If you're looking for serious LD, the song Antagonist on the album Professional Rapper, although less of a hit, is him being serious and talking about where he wants to be and his situation in the game - enjoy.
You should do Brendon Urie. The lead singer from panic at the disco. He's a really good singer. Paramore also is an awesome singer. They're a little different but I think you'd enjoy them cause they are genuine talents
