I had a chance to be in this movie but didn't like flying from Illinois too LA. My biggest mistake in my life. Sorry Don C . you gave me the chance of my lifetime .PS , Love all of your Phantasm movies . Thanks Don .
@@gu2574 Don told me that I would play Mike . Don said that they was wanting someone that had a southern accent because the movie took place in a southern Illinois town. Don told me that I'd get the part , all I would have to do is go to the studio and I'd be in the movie .But, as I said I don't like to fly . I have never flown since that summer vacation too Orange County back in the 70's The Jet that I was on had fuselage flapping on the left wing where I was setting .I told the stuartist to look out my window at it flopping .All she said is that it was an old Jet. My Grandma was sitting next to me and when the stuartist said that , she stiffened up like it scared her. The Jet was out of St. Louis Lambert Air port.We landed in La International air port .
He sure did 😢 he is missed by so many people around the world and so it begins hahaha and so much appreciation he had for his fans and for what he had in his life he'll never stop being my tall man I always take him along.
After watching a beautiful tribute done from one of his fans who was so fortunate to have met him in person and they become pen pals for so many years and was fortunate to have been able to share in each other's lives after watching it I took felt more closer to the beloved man Angus Scrimm and it's called " Angus Angus " - Memorial Tribute to Angus Scrimm by Kristen Deem . I must warn you though it will make you cry 😭 because just a wonderful wonderful man he was so passionate with what he held dear. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ And that's what I mean once you watch her beautiful tribute you won't just see this man as just our tall man he just seems more than that fe feels like one of the family.
I'm surprised no de-aging CGI was used on The Tall Man in later films. The price of that tech probably would have shut down production altogether. I'm glad he was kept as is.
This franchise is low budget. Besides, this whole de-aging in movies was still not a common thing when the last Phantasm movie came out. But I get what you're saying since Mike and Reggie needed de-aging as well in that same last movie when they were recounting the fourth film
Funnily enough, I've actually written a big horror crossover fanfic where The Tall Man is the main villain. The basic jist of the story is that TM tries getting his hands on the necronomicon, so not only can he create "better" dwarves (by infusing them with deadite D.N.A) but also invade/take over other universes with the help of some other horror villains acting as his proxies; leaving Ash, Reggie, and many other good guys to prevent him from achieving his goals.
@@alabamafreak Ash and Reggie would be such a badass duo. Did you know Bruce and Reggie were supposed to do a Phantasm movie together? So unfortunate it never happened.
to conquer death, when he was Jebediah Morningside he said as much, going through the gate he spent who knows how many eons traveling and learning and becoming.. The Tall Man, and he came back, 14 seconds after he left, now completely evil, with the same goal, conquering death, and all of reality with it.

We all make mistakes dude. I had a chance to by bitcoins when they were dirt cheap. I chose to by a sandwich for lunch instead.
Rip Angus we'll always remember you as a great actor and a even greater man ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You can tell Angus loved being that character the subtle looks and gestures everything down to the tone of his voice

0:35 the best Tall Man scene in franchise, i love it
I like the part where he says boy
Who says boy better?
A:Kratos
B:Arthur Morgan
C:Tall-Man
Kratos > Tall man > Arthur Morgan

The Tall Man was always supposed to look old - even in the first couple movies, he did it all in make up

Thank you i will use this pack for edits

I read he was billed as 6ft 4in but he looked so much taller in the movie. :)
Angus Scrimm was 6’4 but the Tall Man is intended to appear as 7’+
They used tight fitting suits, platformed shoes, and clever camera angles to make him look even taller
The platforms made him 6’7.
You play a good game boiiiiiii
In my mind, he says Gameboy 😅
The Game is finish
Going to use this
0:40 all kids when they hear that damn ice cream truck music 😅

The tall man has been getting old. I never think aging happens in spiritual world ! ! !

The Tall Man is horror’s Thanos

The Tall Man, and he came back, 14 seconds after he left, now completely evil, with the same goal, conquering death, and all of reality with it.
The more they developed him for the sequels, the more he resembled a kind of lost, dark, godly Gallifreyan.
I met "the tall man"at a comic con .along with Kane hodder(Jason)and Robert zdar(maniac cop).😮
I’m sorry but when Tall Man got older he wasn’t scary bc he was so stinking cute..

What did the tall man say when the little boy was playing his video game? You play a good Game Boy!
