That would prettyl much entirely preclude the possiblity of a getaway xD and then if you somehow did manage to break out and escape the guards and the dogs and everything you'd probably just end up freezing to death in the snow =p
True, the check isn't huge for the dudes who aren't doing contests. I suppose that excludes Danny and Bob because I'm pretty sure they're out doing those. Yeah, those dudes who skate like Daewon or Marc still get hurt but definitely not as much as dudes who are maybe doing stuff like Figgy or Dustin Dollin who are throwing themselves down huge shit and rails. And as for Andrew, you're right. I can't remember ever seeing him with a major injury which is actually pretty crazy.

It's not as easy as it seems. It's got to be a lot harder to be a pro skater than most jobs in the world, honestly. You get broke off sometimes, and usually pretty often. Pretty much constantly in pain from jumping down big shit or injuries. But yeah, definitely awesome getting paid to actually do something you love, enjoy, and is never the same thing as the day before.
