There’s something about the quality of Aussie clothes, it is superior in every way. Whenever I visited Oz, I would fill my case with gorgeous clothes. I’m still wearing some things that I purchase in the early 90s.

Loved your vlog as usual. I was riding a horse in Hyde Park, 1969, I think, when the Stones were playing, Brian Jones had just died. . My horse had never seen such a crowd but he behaved well. I worked at the Civil Service Riding Club in De Vere mews, now long gone😊

So love the tiger print maxi Jo! ~ a really classy dress with those beautiful colours, and such a perfect fit, it looks bespoke. It's lovely to catch up with friends, but I'm afraid I'd have had to tell your lunch date to ditch the phone ~ it's what puts me off of meeting up with friends these days. if they're constantly checking their phones, or taking/making calls, they're not really with you in the moment. Jo, it is such fun to watch you build your fashion collection. You have great taste and can wear anything, your style is spot on. I absolutely love your walks through London, as that is my favorite thing to do when visiting. You are correct there is no there city that I have visited that has the parks like London, easy to navigate and one can always find a bench to take a break.
I think it was 1973 or 1974 my girl friends and I seen the Rolling Stones in Cleveland Ohio we were just teenagers, what a great day.

The squares are looking particularly lush and verdant at the moment and the London architecture is so elegant and beautiful. Hyde park looking glorious. So many portaloos! Jo, you have inspired me to update my wardrobe. In my younger days, I was quite a fashionista. It was something I enjoyed very much. But I got older and retired and fell into the jeans and t-shirt style because it's so easy for a retired homebody. But now I want to enjoy fashion again, it's fun. So thank you for being an inspiration! (BTW, folks, I'm not criticizing the jeans and t-shirt style. I just want to do something different.) Also, regarding Myrtle, my Winston is just like her. Spent big bucks on a special bed for pets with arthritis, and he ignores the bed to chew the box it came in to pieces. Pets are such a joy! ~ Janet Faye Elizabeth

I know how much you love London Jo (as do I), but boy oh boy how it has changed. Too many beggars in Marylebone High Street and in central London on the whole (I was accosted last month sitting minding my own business drinking a cappuccino outside a coffee shop), Oxford Street is terribly run down. The Kings Road remains relatively unchanged, but it’s simply not the same anymore and not in a good way. 😔
