You know the craziest thing is all these hungry humans and animals and all this gets thrown away instead of donating to food pantries and animal shelters but the good thing is they may dumpster diving but they also donate where it’s needed helping others I think that’s awesome .
it is insane to me that pet stores would rather throw stuff away instead of donating it to a shelter....

So glad to see you donating to less fortunate. In this day and age people should be able to feed their kids. Believe me when my kids were young had i even thought od D.D. i would have done it in a heartbeat. Keep diving keep feeding your kids and keep helping people who can't. Here in Missouri a dumpster diver friend bought a scoop at Dollar Tree and carries that and trash bags in his truck. When he finds sliced pet food bags he scoops it into the trash bags.

Bring bags and a shovel, or broom and dust pan to pickup the dog food. You might not be able to get all of it, but you could get some of it.

That... was an amazing haul guys!!! Its so nice that y'all donate to blessing boxes also! Truthfully, I don't know of any dd-ers who don't give away a lot of goods bc there is just so MUCH that we recover from these businesses that, unless you have a huge family, I don't see how you could possibly keep it all. Anyway, I love seeing this bc we know you're helping so many homeless and poor families to get some nourishment! God bless!

Forgot go suggest look in the little trash bags that normally are at the front registers. They throw away the gift cards & sometimes you can find leftover money on them. I have found some really nice finds at Bath & Body Works

I hope you try this! Those little squeaky toys that you found reminded me of a comedian I watched. He took the squeaker out and put it in his mouth between his teeth. When he would squeeze something he would make that piece squeak. ENTERTAINMENT for young and old alike!

To take the tubs there too cuz he could always use it when you dumpster dies so you can put stuff peel up and you buy a lot of food again you can fill them up

Sometimes they put the dog food on the ground outside of the dumpster to keep them from getting into the dumpster and it’s for the strays and stuff that are out there too so don’t get mad that they dump the dog food out on the ground they’re also feeding the stray animals out there
Just a suggestion maybe put packing tape in the truck go close the bags of dog food
