Project Highrise is a 2D tower-building simulation game, developed by SomaSim and published by Kasedo Games. It is considered by many to be the spiritual successor to SimTower. In the game, players take on the role of a high-rise manager who is responsible for building and maintaining a tower block, filling it with offices, apartments, shops and restaurants, which they support with utilities, while providing specialized services and fulfilling certain conditions in order to keep the residents and tenants of the building satisfied.

Call Me Kevin
I funded an empire with mole people in the basement in Project Highrise
#CallMeKevin #Gaming #Simulator - Hry
Kevin tried being a mole person ONCE and now he's hooked. What a character arc. I'm here for it 👏
Me too
😂
Arc* But ye!
@@ZizzleTheKakapo Ohh damn dude. Thanks. I'm not a native speaker so I tend to get a few things wrong. Thank you :)
Kevin is an inspiration to all mole people
won't surprise me if Kevin is a mole person himself and just lives inside the walls and scares Anna all day
And then Anna turns out to also not be a human but a fae who wonders why humans let mole people in their houses but she lets him be because she thinks it normal for humans
Imagine him popping out randomly in his spiderman costume around the house hahaha
It be like that one scene from Blark and Son, he's in the walls
Least the cars wont be able to see him threw the windows
Wait? What? This CZcamsr has a daughter??
It’s crazy how I started watching Kevin when I was starting high school and now I’m 25 with a mechanical engineering degree and just got a job at a nuclear plant. Couldn’t have done it without ya Kev!
Thats amazing!! :) Congratulations!
Bet you're an astronaut also
That's... Oddly arousing, the nuclear power plant I mean.
Kevin fan at a nuclear plant 😨
Can you get me some uranium
Absolutely love that the whole building enters and exits through one office on the ground floor. That person would never get any work done!
To Kevins favor, he did eventually fix it so the entrance its in one the restaurants, considerably less awkward for everyone involved. Of course, he only did that after most of the building was already built, so its safe to say that person must have moved out for exactly that reason. Still, considering Kevins usual standards, that he actually fixed it later on should be celebrated.
Kevin's new concept of having a building be functional BEFORE people sign the lease is truly groundbreaking.
game devs take notes
Watching Kevin slowly learn to manage a business responsibly is something you don't see every day.
He had his own business irl. Lol
@@TheVioletMazeHAD is the key word lol
Don’t forget, he did run his own successful business until….. THE INCIDENT
@@xvii9055”had” was only because he was severely injured and disabled
@@xvii9055Well it was a franchise and he did keep it going for 3 years
Welcome back to the #1 mole people channel on all internet ✌️😎
Imagine being one of the basement workers, and hearing the building owner *calling you a mole person.*
kevin becoming king of the mole people 🤣
Yes youtube PR person you never fail to entertain us
Does that make the mole peoples Queen at the top Anna?
They don’t know what happened in serbia in 64
Vordt of the borreal valley theme starts playin
@@justalittleturtle5600of course
The mole people are really making a comeback.
Imagine walking on shit lane seeing like 40 “work in progress” sky scrapers who all had the same previous owner 😭😭
_Did you mean: Donald Trump_
0:44 They’re sent to the basement, immediately.
That came straight outta Jim Pickens’s playbook.
Who do you think founded this mole tower? Jim is using what he learned in his teenage years for a profitable business. Granted, it wasnt exactly profitable in the long run, but he was young and naive then. He didnt knew there was no need to pay the basement people to work for him. That was a valuable lesson.
Kevin would perfectly suit the lifestyle of a mole person 💀
Waiting to see the chaos of Jim Pickens as a rancher... 🐴
Yessss!!!! 😂
That should be amazingly chaotic! I can't wait!
We all watch Kevin videos so we are the mole people who stay inside and watch his content for a living
The mole people have got to be my favourite running gag on the channel. Love those guys
Kevin's videos helped me a lot in university! There were times when I was so burnt out and tired with assignments and his videos have been a serotonin boost for me!
These types of games can be brutal. The moment you start doing well, or even before, it drops some disaster to shatter your momentum. I'm amazed Kevin did so well!
They say insanity means doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. So based on that Kevin is insane for thinking he will succeed and I’m not insane because I keep watching his videos and I’m always entertained.
Now, being fair, Kevin isnt completely insane (yet). Sure, hes constantly repeating the same mistakes which almost always lead to self-destruction, but he does learn from those mistakes eventually. Its just that he has a "one step forward three steps back" way of leaning, so the results barely show. Sometimes they dont show at all. But not matter how little he succeds, theres always a happy ending. So maybe he is insane, insanely positive that is.
This must be were Jim developed his love of basements
It's rare to see Kevin actually play a game like it should be and not end the video after %8 progress into the game. A surprise but a good one indeed
before covid let me work from home I worked in a basement office for my real estate-adjacent job. thank you for representing my experiences Kevin ❤
As a mole person I’d like to thank Kevin for providing a home to us
I love how hard Kevin leans into the "Mole City" idea once it's occurred to him. He's found something that works, and he's sticking to it! 😂
LOVING the mole people theme of the videos recently
Hell yeah Sim Tower throwback!!! Project highrise is an awesome spiritual successor, but I'd also recommend the (older) YOOT Tower, made by the same guy who did sim tower, it's basically an expanded version of the original. Project Highrise def has the crown for modern design sensibilities and UX though.
Just wanted to say that my leg got fractured recently and been feeling really down about it since I will have to miss my first few days of college, but your videos have been helping a lot and cheering me up♥️
good luck and get well soon mate! you're going to ace it.
These mole people episodes really hit
lol not even a minute in
kevin: best I can do is basement
Kevin's new obsession with mole people is fascinating
oh its not new, believe me
@@datoneweirdo2524Yeah, its more like finding the way back to a long lost love.
It's a resurgent obsession, not a new one.
I just came out of surgery and I’m SO great full to have this to watch! 😭❤️
I hope ur feeling alright and get better soon :)
@@gladfridge thank you! ☺️
Never knew kev had tower (daddy) issues, I'm glad he's seeking help even though mole people mole problems am I right
It's ok if yall dont understand me I dont either, I'm very sleep deprived but hey new kev upload
amug us
Kevin and his mole people will never get old
I’ve seen a few other people say this already, but I’m imagining Kevin being a mole person, and he does videos to get rid of his boredom, and he’s only just dropping hints abkut his mole person origins.
Kevin has helped me through some of the worst times in my life so far. I know you probably won't read this but thank you, truly.
Great job on the video CallmeKrew as always everything was A-star, from the editing to audio. I feel like its not said enough about the effort the whole team puts in to produce a masterpiece of every video.
And also, kevin. You did very well too, wouldn’t be the same channel without you... it would just be CallMe and frankly i find that a bit creepy, like we've hardly met! Why would I call you! Leave me alone stalker!... wait what was i saying?
Blink 5 times if you need help
Awww thank you! Editor Kevin very much appreciates the kind words!! 😁
I never played sim tower but played yoot tower which is the sequel and (known as sim tower 2 in Japan) came out 4 years after sim tower anyway watching this still gives me a sense of nostalgia.
1) Kevin expands into the underground
2) Earthquake immediately occurs
3) My power went out
These three things happened so fast I was stunned. It was almost like... no. No, that's impossible. Kevin's just... playing a game, right? It's not real. It can't be. Right??
Am I a mole person?!
P.S. Is Mole2 available to talk?
P.P.S. It's urgent.
No mole2 is not available right now
I love it when Kevin plays really difficult games and it just makes Kevin suffer repeatably. Like Sims 2.
Thank you for doing what you do! Your videos are a constant bright spot in my life and I will always appreciate you and what you bring to this world.
I loved Sim Tower, granted I never owned it, but someone brought in to school and installed it on all the four computers in the back of a rarely used classroom one year. A handful of us would go spend lunch in that classroom and play some not quite legally installed games.
I like how the building extends like ten stories underground with a single elevator and absolutely no stairs. I'm surprised Kevin didn't find a way to start a fire underground just to see what would happen.
Love the vids kevin from a fellow irish man
... and on top of it all; Queen Mole.
I love this, please make it into a shirt or something, Kevin!
Kevin is now one of the few CZcamsrs I watch who actually tries to succeed at the game and often does quite well... yeah I'm also not sure how that happened
Kevin's chaos is always a welcome addition to my day or night. Life feels much less stressful realizing people like Kevin are existing among us and responsible for most of all of our miseries.
I loved SimTower growing up. Glad to see you touch this genre Kevin! Keep up the great work!
I read the title and immediately thought to myself "what the **** is wrong with you Kevin?" but then I remembered, this is why I watched you. I think we're the ones (the viewers) who might need to see someone lol. Been a fan for years since the military, keep it up man never lose your style.
I will comment again in another 5 years, in order to stay consistent, of course.
I'm here for all the mole people content
Thanks Kevin for introducing me to so many cool games. I'd have never found there's a newer Sim Tower until today
THAT'S THE "SHIPMASTER'S HUMOURESQUE" THE GUMMI- SHIP BUILDING SONG FROM KINGDOM HEARTS!!!
that just brought back so many fucking memories oh my god.
Normally, you'd be expecting Kevin to play something along the lines of "the worst X ever", but no, here Kevin's just playing a landlord of average competency.
I love kevin playing these management kind of games, he's so entertaining and I find watching him sooo interesting. I love it!
Mole people have never been so represented than by Kevin. 👏
I was playing simtower like 2 hours ago for nostalgia I am absolutely floored rn.
I played this game day and night back a few years ago. So good!
I quite enjoy watching him actually play the game and learn and do well in it
Im loving the OSRS background music, thought I had it open in the background when I heard it
Thank you Kevin for always making my day better with your content. ❤
I used to play this back in like 2020, 2019.
nice!
Kevin could have kept the people in the offices happier by having a pretzel day. (The Office, s3e05)
Another day of Kevin is a day to be grateful for
Sim tower was one of my favorite games as a kid. Its what got me into the sim series and the sims. Happy memories. 😊
old sim tower strategy: first build one flat floor without stairs. only add floors if you have the money. underground floors are more expensive than adding floors overground (maybe same here)
Your videos help a lot with my low moods. Thank you for being you and making fun videos
SIMS TOWER! What a blast from the past. A fun game and if you knew how to even everything out a joyful ride.
Brutal game?
Callmekevin?
I'll rewatch for an hour!
I got my masters in business administration thanks to kevin
I used to play SimTower for hours after school. It's crazy it started out as an Elevator Sim to help elevator companies better optimize their elevator placement and usage.
“hey there moles, how’s it digging, today we’re going to be a mole person”
YAS sim tower was my absolute addiction, thank you for this video Kevo!
Loving that gentle Sims 1 music in the background!
Wow they're still updating that game thats so cool! its been in my library for years now
Ive been watching you for years and love every video! Ty kevin fornall the great content ❤
For all* idk what fornall means
"Stuffing loads of real estate agents underground" made me laugh so long i hto pause the video. Brand new sentence material right there!
You'd think the maintenance workers would predict the earthquakes, since they are always reading the newspaper.
this was actually really entertaining to watch! wouldnt mind at all if ud play more of this game ^^
Omg Sim Tower!! My childhood growing up too Kev!
I loved SimTower and I love this video! Great one!
Kevin the sort of person who says he's going to try his best then immediately start risky behaviour.
I’ve played this game, the scenarios are a great way to learn
Loving these longer videos, keep it up if it’s what you enjoy!
Just wanted to say thank you Kevin. I was having the most terrible day and you and your hilarious video made me laugh so hard 😂. Thank you for being you Kevin 😊
the gummy ship theme song from KH is playing in the background. Made my day even more
"Population feedback: they're all just complaining about dirt, or the lack of food."
This quote could honestly be dropped into most of Kevin's videos and it would make perfect sense in context.
Man I remember that game. I had quite the obsession with it for a while.
I miss Sim Tower. I used to play that a good bit myself. Wish I could find it somewhere. At least this seems like a good fill in though. Really weird seeing Kevin actually try and succeed at doing well in a game! Yay!
Their was a batch of highrises that we could see from a distance from the school playground. On many sunny days we would get onto the see saw then say we found the big city when we we're on the higher side.
Yay more Kevin
i’m so glad i’m here for the call me kevin mole people renaissance of 2023
SimTower is a fond memory of my early Windows gaming. We had a rental place that actually rented out PC games at the time, which was awesome and how I found it. Still have the game and a Win98SE laptop on which to play it.
Ah, a trip down memory lane, huh? SimTower, Win98SE laptop - congratulations, you're a walking relic. While you're busy clinging to your ancient digital fossils, we're dealing with mole people and building empires. Your quaint little reminiscence won't change the fact that the gaming world has moved light-years ahead. But sure, keep worshiping your outdated shrine while we're out here conquering new frontiers.
I love this game but there’s so many silly traps you can fall into, and unfortunately Kevin is Ash Ketchum walking into a trigger snare for the 16th episode in a row
This reminds me of Clicker Inc or whatever that game was called that was a flash game. Something along the lines of typer or keyboard corporation.
Great video really enjoyed it thank you
These building sim and tower tycoon games are insanely hard. You had more success than I ever had.
I’d love to see more with the Mole People, especially since this was such a success with no problems at all along the way! 😆
the fact that Kevin can make anygame like it's the goat just shows how good at this he is
623 Shit Ave was tragic. You had a great foundation and then earthquake lol. This was fantastic though, you really did a great job managing 622!
Fun video as always, and thank you for sharing your story :)
I loved sim tower and still have the original disk somewhere but it wont install on modern pc's, if I remember correctly it was never easy to install properly but I digress I bought project highrise when I first saw it because it looked so similar and I spent about an hour trying to figure it out and rage quit, two years ago... havent touched it since...looks super fun once you figure it out though
