I love how no matter what Kevin does, this version of Jim hates it.
He tries to be a content creator from his basement, Jim hates video editing, he tries to be a rancher, Jim hates riding horses, he tries to live cheaply by getting all of his fun from dancing, Jim hates dancing.
It's no wonder he kept trying to eat pufferfish, this version of Jim just hates living. Pre-reset Jim was a whole lot more determined, even if he did use it to kill people.
This new Jim may be more suicidal and generally depresive than the original, but hes certainly more hardworking too. See how he goes out of his way to learn new things and takes a diferent approach to making money without working. Old Jim would simply have his many slaves do everything for him, new cola Jim is inclined to make more of a effort in a day to day basis. Which may also be the reason for his constant attempts to end his life, to escape the misery of having to live for himself instead of living off others. Clearly no Jim came to this world to do anything but slaving and killing sims (notice how this are the only activities this Jim doesnt hate).
This sure changes the context from Jim hating his life to Jim evilly hating his life
It's because he's no longer with his husband Grim, he's acting out from heartbreak from missing his reaper.
@@the._.elemental90999 Their relationship turned sour WAY before the reset. It was when he lost Turg and Default to... Something? Idk, they're just kinda gone now, that the Jim changed.
@@pedrovallefin8406 Old Jim had gone trough SO MANY jobs, this Jim just does what everyone, from any wealth level appears to be doing: dumpster diving.
But he didn't do anything original with that, it just seems like dumpster diving is just a common hobby here, there's a thriving ecosystem of people dumping their trash and then diving for other people's trash, while still leaving theirs for someone else to dive trough.
I'm dying in laughter as Kevin tried to make a "Rags to Riches" playthrough but is actually playing "Stop Jim from killing himself through bad Pufferfish" instead.
While making sure his neighbors watch him take a dump 😂

Weirdly enough, this is the least evil hes been in a while (in The Sims). Jim only stole a little, he mainly got by dumpster diving and relying on the good will of strangers (with the amount of times he used their recycler he would have been thrown out if he didnt have permission, indirect or not). Sure, he killed five people along the way, but he literally gained nothing from doing so (nothing but pure enjoyment), so it hardly counts as part of the rags to riches. So he got rich by good means, the evil he did was entirely unrelated. You know, gotta keep work and hobbies separated.

I love how Jim is like a dog in this video and Kevin needs to constantly watch over him so he doesn't eat anything dangerous. "What are you eating? What are you eating??? WHERE did you get that!? Put that down immediately!"

Pretty sure the Reaper standing outside staring was him having a moment of internal debate about whether or not he should get involved with his ex again. The subsequent deaths were the Reaper getting a bit of revenge on said ex after deciding to jump back in.
I like how Jim is slowly (And subconsciously?) going back to basics again. Cults, killing sims, thieving, flirting with Death, etc.

I just imagine at Jim’s first death by pufferfish Grim was just in complete shock seeing his former lover felled by his own sword, hence why they just stood motionless staring through the window, unable to cope with the fact that the one responsible for the decimation of the Sim population had finally perished.

He likely didn't remember his restaurant since he'd also forgotten the higher painting skill he had before as well. Must have really bad head trauma from getting thrown off his ranch.
@@Moraenil Its one of the consequences of the constant interdimensional travel, supernatural transformations and regressing back to his teenage years. His body and mind has been reset in so many ways that we could say hes an all new sim, unrelated to who he was before. Why, we may even be lead to believe this is a entirely different universe and a completely separate Jim Pickens from the one we knew, but thats imposible. We all know that theres only one Jim Pickens in the entire multiverse, any perceived diferences are all just side effects from his long and ever changing life.

I unironically love Jim's house. Kevin is a decent builder in The Sims 4.
The best thing about Kevin's Sims save file, is he will always eventually run into some family he destroyed or a lot he made awful, and most of the time Kevin won't even recognise his handiwork! It's great!

When you go dumpster diving, you make WAY more money selling them straight from inventory. You get close to full price for them. Once you place them in the world they lose all value. Also, if you talk to someone whos digging in the dumpster and then end the conversation, you can cut them off and take the turn.
So satisfying to see Jim Pickens die three times in one episode. That made me laugh every time 😂😂
