There's a difference between atheists and anti-theists. I'm atheist and I simply lack belief in a god, it's not that I don't want to believe, I believed in God when I was younger but the belief faded away. It would be nice if it came back.

I've been dealing with a lot of stuff not just physically, but mentally as well. And most of your talking points, man I can relate. With regards to faith, I grew up as a hardcore catholic, then switched over to born-again christianity, then just, i dunno, non-religious who believes in a creator of some sort. But yeah, atheists seem to down-play the importance of faith. If i din't have it man, i would've ended myself years back when I suffered from depression for years. Whether they believe in a creator/god/God of some sort, man they cant discount the importance of having faith and hope in a higher being.

110% concur with you Theo about the faith and the lack hurts. God gets me through. How selfless you were with that young man who called in wanting a last lunch with his dad, and your empathy and seeing him feel complete would make you fulfilled spiritually. That's the Holy Spirit touching you. I used to be a CNA and made $7.00 a hr in my 20's. Taking care of those folks was the best reward better than pay. Now I help take care of my mom with advanced Parkinsons and dementia, I love so much my bestie and help my dad my hero as he's been pretty ill and needs help from my big brother and I. I also help my little brother with illness, struggles. You inspire you listeners and lift us up. Push us through. Make us laugh and share too. Thanks Theo. 💌 Gang Gang.
