The idea of assembling it yourself and learning about it in the process is the best part.
Yea it saves dji a lot of money
And it can turn into a robot assembly business for those who are willing to pay and do less work...
yttrium , Remember Heathkit, Science fair kits? Unlike today mindless video games, building those kits makes you learn about electronic along the way.
@@Leo82155 what do video games have to do with robotics or kit assembly? Two different hobbies with different entertainment value.
Typical boomer "member better times...? " argument. Gee.
@@PLAYGAMER2033 We're not talking about robotics assembly line in a factory, these are toys, different in form but same purpose: to entertain, you're right the value is quite different, take Xbox: top 10 best sellers are all shoot'em up games, best eyes and fingers coordination trainers around, what do you learn from it? How to destroy and kill your enemy in the most graphical way. As for building your own sophisticated programmable robot that actually works, you may learn a few things along the way, oh, it can also satisfy the aggressive nature of man, you can shoot and bring down your opponent robot too, but sorry, no simulated dismemberments and splatter blood. Which toy has better value? Gee...I wonder
dji: lets made drones. governments: regulate drones and monitor for weaponization. dji: forget drones lets make weapons.
That's what you get for criminalizing hobbyists. I'm personally switching from aerial videography and FPV to just all crime, and I haven't even changed my behavior at all.
Surely this is just the test run to work the kinks out.
Well, u can put some c4 on ur RV, and make it become weapon. Its simple.
@@liufrank1497 do you have c4?
@@mistercohaagen Yeah..asking the real question here....
USA: does dji CEO have a daughter?
SUPER NOVA u made my day lmao
LOL maybe US can kidnap his wife first. if he hasn't a daughter now
还真有,DJI的老板为了女儿方便上学,也为了安全考虑,专门开了一个学校,员工的小孩和深圳一些高科技公司的高层的小孩都可以去上学,学费非常的贵。

China is powering ahead with advanced innovations and cutting edge technology.
why do you speak like some kind of corporate handbook?
Technically it's not cutting edge. The coolest part is that it assembles a lot of current technologies and makes it affordable and fun. Kids can learn a lot from this including programming and basic physics. They may gain interest in those and build a sense of logic.
@David Wingood true,
In America, summer camp teaches how to light a stick with fire(lighters made in china).
Canada please don’t kidnap DJI CEO’s daughter this time.. she’s still in kindergarten.....

I honestly think the building and coding aspect is great, I’m personally a robotics student and building is the best part and learning how to code and work as a team I’ve honestly learned a lot about engineering

This is really cool. I remember to have similiar idea about the HP bar, but it used in armor while playing paint ball combat.
This tech is amazing! I really hope DJI doesn't get some sort of ban placed on them, they're an awesome and inspiring company
Great job Dji, thank you for making less death in warfares.
liu luis the last bit just got me like a boomerang!
The way they shift from side to side looks so cool.
Best part that I like is that it forces you to learn and problem solve!
It is really fun! I wanna buy one now!
In WWIII, you're going to hear the DJI startup tone before a swarm of robots breach your house and murder everyone. It'll be cool though.
mistercohaagen hahaha.
Only the Americans will use these robots to kill. Chinese use them to empower the life of humans.
@Peoples Republic of Ninj the same government that invaded middle east killing hundreds of thousands and millions without a place called home. The only government that has been involved in every war around the world for the past two decades.
@Peoples Republic of Ninj right here we are talking about the use of these robots in war time. What are you talking about? Violation of human rights? Ask those Iraqis how their human rights were abused by america. America have history of mass killings and war mongering.
@@carson7985 Let's face it bro... every government who gets their hands on technology usually abuses it. They're all guilty of profiting from war. The Chinese military has every type of weapon the American military has, and they both use it. And we know both governments abuse the living hell out of their citizens... it's the nature of power, in a world of outcomes solely dictated by the profit motive. No surprises there.
This is so cool... new game changer to airsoft 😉👍
I love this product. This might be a start of something magnificent...
Cool!! The future of gaming..

That sends a map of your home to the vacuum robot company so that they can sell your floor plan to other companies...
Come on be real here, not everything is tracked by the Chinese government
Those wheels are sick

Reminds me of General Dynamics MUTT or maybe even a 1930’s Teletank. Just a mini toy version. I guess 100 years for the toy version wasnt too long to wait.
Me: drone market is dying...
DJI: hold my dumpling..
So useful if you can play remotely, from your office to a personal robot patrolling at home. Soon there will be jobs of control robots working in a remote location, for non-repeatable works, consulting, say, to build a house, to hire someone doing chore for you from your home robot. Robotics will definitely lead the next industry revolution.
Wars will never be the same again.

It's a remote controlled gel blaster - shooting toys that were made for countries that ban airsoft. Those wheels are sick though, the way it can strafe like that.
Very clever to use PMMA beads as toy "tracer rounds" that edge-illuminate with LEDs. Also an excellent use of omnidirectional wheels. I wanna see someone teach that drone how to perform tank strafing maneuvers with AI now.
