That plasma tube is an incredible effect.. curious what kind of fan or air pump you have in the vent? I’ve seen a lot of people that it just kind of dribbles out fog, but I’m really after an effect like you have. Curious what would get the job done
Thanks so much! That damn plasma tube took me close to year to get it to work hahaha!! It gives off so much EMI it would interfere with all the other electronics finally took a relay switch wired in pack to get the push button to work with sound so it wouldn’t interfere. The smoke effect I bought about year or two ago from guy who makes them On Etsy let me try and dig up his link and I’ll send it to ya give me a day to find it
@@kennyregiecyadingus that’s insane. I am build and tech savvy but anything as far as custom wiring and programming and modifying and I’m a fish outta water. Totally worth you figuring it out. It’s such a unique feature and it looks spot on with the source content And thanks a lot. I would appreciate that so I could at least look at the components and maybe figure out how to rig it up myself

Here’s a link to the Facebook page from the guy who made the whole set up basically comes with everything the fan wired to the juice which is a vape container. It works great. Never had any issues with it to make it even cooler you could fill it up with marshmallow flavored smelling vape juice, but I believe you have to mix the juice with something for it to work. The first one I had I purchased years ago but my buddy dropped it and it broke. They been very hard to come by these days. However, I was able to find basically the same exact one that I just installed to replace it looks just like it only difference is the circuit board that runs the plasma tube had a nice plastic housing that protected the circuitboard/converter because it converts AC DC current which can give you quite a shock. Just a heads up won’t kill ya, but definitely can sting lol I absolutely love the effect I’m happy to help if you have any questions I may even have a wiring diagram I posted years ago on gbfans.com, I’ll see if I can find it because the plasma to can give off a lot of EMI and I ran into an issue when connecting it to the firing push, which it would interfere with the sound at the same time so instead, I had to wire a relay in between which fix the issue. However, I spoke to a few others over the years that I helped out and some people didn’t have the same issue I did but here is a link on eBay you can get. I’ve looked all over and this is the only one I can pretty much find . Here is a link I posted explaining the install on GB fans. It includes my wiring diagram with the relay and without the relay and if you are using a gbfans‘s thrower Soundboard, by any chance, there’s one minor addition you need to add, which is just a tiny resistor I recycled from some electronic piece I placed in one of the connections that helped fix another small issue I ran into. Just be careful once you purchase the plasma tube the trickiest part is removing the glass plasma tube out of its original housing without breaking it.
