    Hey, can you show us how to practice solo using metronome (especially fast alternate picking, bending and sweep pick). I struggle to play on beat when learning guitar solo, currently learning buried alive by a7x and I hardly notice any progress so far..

    • @MZguitar
      @MZguitar  Před 2 lety +1

      I do plan to make a video on that! However, I don't know when I'll get to it. If you are having problems playing with a metronome, you can try playing along to the original solo slowed down and pick-up speed as you go improve. It should be easier for you to stay on beat if you have the original recording to sync up to.
      I'd recommend using software to slow down the song incrementally rather than using CZcams. You should be able to go from 60% to 65% or even 61%.
      The downside of this compared to a metronome, is that you will have to watch the volume levels. You don't want the volume of the song to drown out your technical mistakes so pay good attention to your playing and how clean it is.

    Can you do the hammer by dethklok or impeach god by dethklok

    • @MZguitar
      @MZguitar  Před 2 lety

      I haven't done any Dethklok in a couple of months but I plan to get back to them sooner rather than later. I know The Hammer but I don't think I've heard Impeach God so I'll check it out.

      I get my tone through software and not through a physical amp! I made a video on the subject a while back: czcams.com/video/JELOdpRk_0Q/video.html
