Marty uses his middle finger for the bend use your index finger sooo much nicer
i use both the index and middle finger. Using more fingers makes it easier

So helpful, thank you. I never realized how intricate this song really is.
Learning the solo to Californication is helping me alot with these bends. And learning the riff in Sharp Dressed Man made me comfortable using my thumb. I dont have many chords memorized, and couldn't tell you what the pentatonic scale is. But I've learned alot in only 4 or so months. Marty Music and Mike Gross have different styles of teaching, but they're both great

Why don't many people like videos with guitar cords, but when it comes to solos everybody jumps for it?
I totally agree. I wish there were more videos showing cool chord progressions, because the solo doesn't sound like much without a backing track behind it.
