The period of Executive President in force is a change in Constitution that requires referendum. Ranil Wickramasinghe came to power to replace the period of Presidency of Gotabhaya Rajapaksha. Therefore Ranil Wickramasinghe could reign only upto the period ending Gotabhaya Rapaksha That is July 17 or so. If Ranil Wickramasinghe cannot understand this provision he should have gone to Supreme Courts. Now there is a pending case for that. This is not a matter to be sort out by Cabinet or Parliament as Ranil Wickramasinghe has suggested. Constitution could be interpreted by Supreme Court. Now there is little time to call the Presidential Election. As a citizen of Sri Lanka. I say Executive President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickramasinghe has violated the Constitution by suggesting the Cabinet to interpret the Constitution. This is not the first time he violated the Constitution.. Executive President comes to power taking oath to preserve the Constitution. He has immunity and immense power. If this process continues it would affect holding the Presidential Election. We are a bankrupt country. We have a hell of lots of problems. Now time has come for the people to decide future action. I know how all of us suffer, Since all the the heavy load of country has come to our shoulders especially middle class.President may be thinking ways and means for being in power further. But we have enough troubles. I wrote this because I felt unclear cloud is ahead for people like us who live under serious pressure.
