    Why do they put a turbo on effectively a generator? Surely a non turbo would use a lot less fuel? Maybe like the Toyota 1.8 or 2.0 Atkinson cycle? But I am no engineer

      Turbo engines have less wasted energy so are actually more efficient

      Forced induction with charge air cooler is fuel economy

    Why not tubo Diesel
    At constant rpm is more efficient

    Well, hard to choose between this and Xtrail...price not so big different :)

      Xtrail is roomy compare to Qashqai. You will find Qashqai a bit tight.

      In the UK, the higher price (over £40k) of the Xtrail means we'd pay an additional £2k in road tax between years 2 and 6 of ownership. This makes the qashqai more attractive as evidenced in it being the second best selling car in the country.
