Transplanting Hydrangeas grown from Cuttings/Hydrangea Propagation Update Post

  • Here is an update of those hydrangeas I did from cuttings way back last year. The hydrangeas have done very well and it's well past time for a transplanting to larger pots. I've been behind on everything this year! Hydrangea macrophylla and Hydrangea quercifolia are both in this video. The Oak Leaf hydrangeas are from seeds and from a cutting.

    I am right below you in North Georgia, about 45 minutes south of Chattanooga . Looks like Saturday will be our first frost. And on Monday it's going to be 29 here for a low.

      Those cold temps are here for a while now. We've had several killing frosts this week. The garden is going to sleep.

      @@Growingthehomegarden what's the difference between a frost amd a freeze? My Bermuda lawn is already starting to get those tiger stripes in it,, where some goes dormant and some dont

      @@DaveTownsend I think we've had a frost but no freeze yet. I've been tracking it and I would say our low was around 34 35 36.

      It's usually a few degrees difference. We've been hitting 28 degrees very regularly lately. (Sorry Randy I replied with the wrong account)
