Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 8th tier of English football, the Isthmian League North. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 4th tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Division 1 South East. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams...and not forgetting our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. I am incredibly impressed by the ref seeing the headbutt and actually giving a red for it. It's generally pretty easy to get away with something like that

I have never understood why people do it, I get that emotions can run high in matches but to do that baffs me, what is it going to achieve! Ref had no choice, just glad he saw it and acted on it
That red card was one of the most braindead things I’ve ever seen on a football pitch. Not only pointless and thuggish but right in front of the ref 😂
Incredible refereeing to be fair, not only to notice it was a deliberate attack on the player but spotting the headbutt aswell which probably contributed to the red, great ref
@@jakecoles3242 The red was solely for the headbutt, you can see the ref miming it to a Brentwood player during the postgame.
I thought this, it’s not like this was a really fiesta game with any boiling points that lead to it 😂 must need the next week or so off 🤷♀️

After a tough start to the season I never thought the team could be this strong. The front 4 is terrifying. Shout out to Kojo for staying patient and finally showing us the whip he has on that right foot. Watson is a beast, wins every header and KHM is the engine, man's has lucozade for blood. CB pairing is a wall. Wooldridge is probably the most consistent player and Benny Brookes with that left foot oh my god. And if all fails, Paigey is there to save the day. Up the tags. Upper benjamin straight to the mfkin bank!

As a former keeper I feel bad for Pagey :( Its always hard to celebrate after conceding a goal like that even if it didn't change the result and you can see that's how he feels in the changing room postgame. Hope he can shake it off and get his confidence back next match!
