Jacob Dudman, who has been narrating and performing as the Eleventh Doctor on audio since 2018, is hanging up his bow tie and fez after the release of Victory of the Doctor in February 2024.

Producer Alfie Shaw said: “Getting to do this series has been the dream Big Finish project for me. We knew we only really had one shot and I’m so grateful that we’ve done has chimed with so many of the listeners.
“I could happily do studio days with Jacob and Safiyya in these roles forever, but that probably wouldn’t be for the best. Knowing we had a fixed finish line helped galvanise the entire team on this. We chucked everything we wanted to do into it. It’s the right time to go.”
Jacob Dudman added: “I was delighted when I first read these scripts. They’re a proper good send off and a fitting finale to a genuinely brilliant range. It’s all just stories in the end, but we made it a good one, eh?”
And Safiyya Ingar said: “I was really challenged with this set and I don’t think I will ever be ready to end… I'm going to miss them so much!”

It's a real honour for the Eleventh Doctor to get a proper showdown with the multicoloured New Paradigm Daleks, after many years of keeping my fingers crossed. I've no doubt it'll do them justice, as we say a tearful farewell to Valarie Lockwood. And it is gonna be a whopper! 💥
This series with the Eleventh Doctor really needs to set the standards for Big Finish's Modern Who works, it's leaps and bounds the best Modern Who work they've done
Really want to see Jacob Dudman on screen as a companion
The whole reason I was interested in this range was because the Paradigm were coming back, but as soon as I listened to the Inheritance, I was hooked. I have also been ill for quite some time, and these stories have cheered me up and taken me back to a time when I was so young. Even if Matt Smith ever joins Big Finish, this range will be just as special to me as if it aired in 2013.
My friend called the Tenth Doctor’s run an ‘extended conga of misery’; I think this run might better fit that description.
The more misery it gets for Valarie the more we love it 🤪
I'm a huge matt smith/eleventh doctor fan. Didn't really want to give this a chance. All I'll say is matt smith will struggle to match Dudman if he ever does Big Finish

He is amazing as the 11th doctor embodies Matt smith but giving his own interpretation he will be missed
