The Eleventh Doctor Chronicles return today as Jacob Dudman and Safiyya Ingar star in a brand-new box set of full-cast audio adventures from Big Finish Productions.
Since October 2022, the Eleventh Doctor and his partly-cybernetic friend Valarie have been travelling by TARDIS on audio to tell new stories set in the immediate aftermath of the TV Doctor Who episode, The Snowmen.
This acclaimed series will be coming to an end next year in an almighty battle with the Daleks. But first... Christmas!

Eleventh Doctor actor Jacob Dudman said: “My favourite part of doing Doctor Who is always the emotional beats, rather than just running around trying to save the day and all of that other stuff that we love about the show.
“But to me as an actor, I find the most interesting thing is playing the humanity, for want of a better word, of the relationships, particularly between the Doctor and their companion. The Doctor and Valarie go really well together.”
Valarie Lockwood actor Safiyya Ingar agreed: “With Jake, I remember when we first met and we were recording. We came out for lunch and someone asked, ‘So how long have you guys known each other?’ And we were like, ‘We just met three hours ago,’ and it was the most rewarding feeling to just know that we already had a rapport from the off.
“There are moments where Jake feels like I can give it a little bit more, and he tells me I should just go for it in studio, and he will too - we bounce off of each other like that. It ends up being the most authentic thing, with real and raw emotion. And then we always give each other a little hug afterwards. Job well done!”

Safiyya is such a brilliant human being. And they’re an amazing couple, both on and the “screen”.
I cannot imagine Safiyya not being part of the Doctor Who family. So happy she has been able to live out the Whovian Dream! 12:40 So heartbreaking to hear Safiyya talk about how she thought getting a part like Valarie wasn't on the cards for her. She is Talented Actress who deserves roles like Valarie and more without question. She's recently done the Witcher which is awesome!! Hope Safiyya knows how much people have enjoyed listening to her play Valarie. Up there alongside Evelyn and Charley. She's officially part of the 11th Doctor's Companion Line-up with Amy, Rory, River and Clara without a doubt.
