NUX NDD-7 Tape Echo Delay

1. Tape head 3 - long delay with reverb and wow & flutter
2. Tape head 3 - dark delay without reverb
3. Tape head 2 + 3 - brighter delay with slight reverb
4. Looping and delay - I recorded a pattern and combined it with another delay setting while playing
5. Looping - I recorded a darker delay and added live a second delay with much wow & flutter. The pitch effects at the end of this soundfile are midi controlled
6. Slapback with reverb
7. Spring reverb only
8. Loop with a long delay with reverb and wow& flutter with long repeats. Repeats and time are controlled via midi.

Have you noticed the Fender Hamertone series pedals? I was impressed with the delay, space delay and reverb. And they are "budget friendly" aswell

Great demo for a great pedal! I don't know how this Nux sounds so good, but it does. I'm still exploring mine. I have had many delays, including an real tape Echoplex EP3, and this NDD7 is near the top. Next to explore the Metaverse!

Hi thats a great demo. I’ve had this pedal a few months and can’t get a good rockabilly tone can you help. Also I don’t know anything about the midi how does that work.

Thanks! With a midi controller, it´s possible to adjust every parameter (tone, time, ...). It´s perfect, to save some presets. For a rockabilly tone, I´d set it to one repeats and a short delaytime (between 60 and 120ms) with tone set to taste at slightly lower volume, than the original signal.

I have one of these but I notice what sounds like low but rate sounds on the trailing delay sounds when I play it, especially with wow and flutter up. Have you noticed this at all?

actually, I did not notice something like that so far. Maybe your power supply offers not enough mA. Check it out, bro and good luck!

@@delaydude yes, please do this. And run them in stereo if you can. The Nux has a beautiful stereo image as you increase the wow and flutter, and I'm curious how it stacks up to the El Cap.
