I want to thank you for making these videos and for all the videos on your tiktok. Finding information about German folk magic, especially for specific regions, can be really difficult and it seems pretty inaccesable a lot of the time. Your tiktok and youtube have been a big help
I'm so glad that my content has helped you!
Hallo! Ich finde dein Channel + Videos echt toll. Viel Erfolg für die Zukunft. Frohes Yule
Thank you for sharing so many rich traditions! I love the tradition where st Nick comes and reads all the years conflicts from the gold book! I’m going to have to see if I can round up the enough uncles to do something like that with my daughter in the future 👹
Me, a Californian: “Mare, dude!!!”
In all seriousness, happy Yule and happy solstice :)
@@lollipopkaboom Happy solstice to you too!
Honestly, I have never understood the hallmark do Gooder, Christmas spirit attitude. I also do not like how overly capitalistic, here in America has become. So, I am in agreement with how bizarre it seems. Showing respect to both light and dark aspects of this time of year brings balance. It's almost as if Americans do the exact opposite of what this season is for too. It is a time of refection and comfort. Hygge. However, everyone here is too busy shopping and rushing around with little to no time before the fated Christmas holiday. Plus, the Hallmark Christmas movies make me nauseous. I feel like I am assimilating like the Borg to the overly toxic positivity.
Let's hope that resistance isn't futile
