    I am having trouble finding any folklore, superstitions, or folk magic for the region of Danzig. Do you know any resources at all? My great grandmother and her whole family was from Danzig before it became a part of Poland. But I do wonder, being so close to Poland, if Poland had a large impact of the lore and superstitions even though most of the people there were of german origin. I just can't find anything..

      Around Danzig they would've been influenced by Kashubian culture and general North German culture. For example, they would've spoken a dialect of Low Saxon (a minority language native to northern Germany aswell as some parts of Denmark and the Netherlands).
      I recommend the instagram account following.the.cord for information on folk practices from the northeast German area. There are likely many overlaps between that and the practices of Pomerania
