  • The Spanish Town Hospital’s pre-graduate program for premature babies, ‘Tiny Yet Mighty', is a powerful initiative. This is the only graduation program of its kind in the world. Babies aged 38 weeks and under received a diploma when they were discharged from the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) at STH. This project was inspired by God to celebrate the life of a premature neonate, which began in 2017 and has since expanded. This approach has been implemented by other NICUs in Jamaica. The management of the Spanish Town Hospital expressed highest commendations to the medical team led by Mrs. Stacy-Ann Burnett-Brissett, Certified Resgistered Neonatal Nurse, Founder, Director of Tiny Yet Mighty for the exceptional work that they have been doing at the hospital.

Every time i see videos of these prem babies and how they fit to go home tears come to my eyes......... Thanks to all the doctors, nurses and the rest of the staff of Spanish Town Hospital at the " NICU" ward for working tiredless with our tiny ones so that they can come home to their families. I am a mother of a prem baby and i am grateful for them. With God we can do all things.
