I'm still on the border line with battery operated outdoor power equipments. Some brand, battery overheat, others not enough power, some just too darn expensive. Eventually I'll migrate there, but for now, I am happy with the Echo PAS 225.

Mine keeps leaving strips when it mows and I can't figure out why. I have to go over it twice.
Check to ensure your deck is clean and if the blades need sharpening. Also are you cutting too much off the grass.

Man - long time no see! I use the pole saw in my manlift all day long! its real sweet - we use the articulating hedge trimmers all the time-the guys grab them before the top stihl hedge trimmers. good to see another ga boy

Milwaukee lawnmower pros
Most powerful mower I have ever used.
Cons
Almost half the time when I engage the self propelled it does not work and I have to hit it two or three times.
The rear flap door is supposed to hold the mulch plug in but it is way to week.
Lots of clippings come through the lose mulch plug.
It is the only mower I have used to discharge to the left.
Since it discharges to the left everyone would run the mower on the right side against the fence line but the height adjustment handle knob sticks out that side so sometimes it gets knocked out to a different height but you might not notice .
An average quality gas mower would give a better cut and a lot better mulch.
The price is too high.
The rear rubber striping flap was half torn off.
I used this mower for two months and cut over 500 lawns and it felt like the mower was starting to fall apart.
I have two Makita 21"self propelled mowers I have used for two years and have had zero problems and are still as solid as when I bought them with well over 1.000 cuts on both these mowers.
Also I have Makita and Milwaukee ope lawn care tools like trimmer blower etc and I can tell you the Makita is a lot better than the Milwaukee.
@@ronmatthews2250 I appreciate the feed back brother. I did lose the rear flap pretty quickly seems like the plastic is brittle for that. I haven’t had an issue with cut so much yet. As far as throwing it out the back to the side I agree have now blowing it back to the inside of the lawn. Haven’t had the handle hit any objects yet but I haven’t had it up against a fence either. I’ll take a look at the makita and see how I like them.
@@PlemonsLawnCare I run Milwaukee and Makita tools. I like the Makita mowers all right even though I've had to bring em into the shop for failed bearings. I really like the Milwaukee Fuel power head that I use for line trimming and hedging. The hedger has blades on both sides which is kind of a cool feature. My sharpening service was impressed with the steel used on the tool. The line trimmer is about my favorite electric trimmer because it has great torque that revs it up fast when you pull the trigger; there's no lag to speak of in other words. I'd love to try the Milwaukee mower; especially because you can get a high lift blade for it (unlike the Makita). Downside for me is the price of the machine ($1,000?!?!) and the price of the 12 ah batteries ($250-$300 each ?!?!). It's hard to run a machine commercially with those prices. And now I know that they start to fall apart after a couple of years... makes it tough to invest in even if it can vacuum lawns.

There was an ebay dealer who had 20% off of this mower for a short time over the 4th of July. I passed on the deal. I have my doubts about it and the price point is silly. We're in an age of predatory manufacturing, so I proceed with caution.
