Stages of watching Hi Ren:
This looks creepy
Guitar sounds nice
Oh he’s singing
Will the whole song be like this?
Here’s the beat
Ok he’s rapping now
This guy is scary
Now he seems nice
Oh I see what he’s doing
This is interesting
This is intense
The mean guy is a jerk
This is INTENSE
Make it stop
I haven’t blinked or taken a breath in 2 minutes
Go Ren!
YES!
OOO-OO-OO-OO-OO-..
I need some time to be still…
Lol that is the most accurate comment ever 😂
I found this comment again! It's so accurate. I liked it a few days ago but couldn't remember which reaction it was on. You need to post it on the Hi Ren video.
Perfectly put.
😂😂😂😂❤
The last sentence is the perfect wrap up of everything before it. Spot on!!!!
This is easily one of the most significant pieces of performance art ever made.
Yeah this one is really beautiful
I've never seen anything like this.
I told my husband, this deserves to be seen at the museum of modern art. This deserves to be recognized on broadway. It is all encompassing, soul crushing...but also lifting. It is truly genius and brilliant.
absolutely the best piece of art i've ever come across
Agreed!!!
One man, a guitar.. no beat... and this watchers are how diamonds are made ❤❤❤
That’s true!
My introduction to Ren was this song 3 day's ago 🤯 I lost track of how many reactions I have watched. Almost everyone has an emotional reaction at the end. He has Lyme disease that was not diagnosed properly for almost 10 years. Awesome reaction 🙂👍❤️
This song is just so emotional one thing I wish I had pointed out during the video that I noticed when I watched the video again is at the end after he stands up and is doing that little sing hum thing the lights are going crazy like he's conquering his demon. Straight 🔥🔥
i have had a very emotional reaction because i have dealt with 35 years of similar illness. he created art out of it.
@TrevReacts want to have your mind blown... look for the lap mic... he does some of his videos as live one take shots.
Same here, totally obsessed with this song and watching reactions to it 😅
I’m on the exact same path right now!! So glad I found this kid!!!!
“And I go by many names also
Some people know me as "hope"
Some people know me as the voice that you hear
When you loosen the noose on the rope”
This line is so profound in so many different ways that it leaves me speechless.
Yeah, that line makes me cry. Every single time. Over and over again.
If the reactor doesn't have a deep reaction to this line, they aren't paying attention.
First time I heard this I was stunned....the next 50 times...I cried like a baby. This guy is a stone cold genius.
Truly. Plus if get into his other work it’s insane!
I had same reaction! Too many things to take in!! Bravo
YOU ARE 100% CORRECT. ❤
Yep! I keep crying every time. And I go back a watch the next reviewer and the next just to see them cry with me. We are truly all human beings. Nice to meet you here Bro!
@@rhonda-qc6qy ...Nice to meet you also!
Wow. Not losers and winners, rather victims and students. Just wow. This Ren has been inside the belly of the beast and is standing on a mountaintop now. He just completely captured the literal essence of "Triumph of the Human Spirit" in a piece of art
Empathy. The reason you are tearing up is because you have empathy. It's an essential part of humanity and the moment we lose empathy for each other, humanity is doomed.
"I was made by his hand, and it's part of his plan, that I stand on my own two feet."
One of the best lines in the song.
That's what made me start tearing up!
Inspiring!
The mastery of it is that EVERY line is the best line, every line is the right line, every line is the true line, every line is the pure line. There is not a word, thought, implication, suggestion or gesture out of place.
I was MADE to be tested and twisted....
@@TrevandErinthe voice that you hear when you loosen the noose on the rope! As a survivor of a suicide attempt, this hit me like nothing has in music. I can’t explain how important both his music and the reactions of people like you are to me right now. Thank you again.
So, for context, Ren has Lyme disease, but by a tick as a teen and the medical professionals he first saw misdiagnosed him, told him it was all in his head, so it got worse, and as he saw all his friends have an eventful and fun twenties, he was bed-bound for years and it caused different levels of psychosis. He took that time to learn more about his guitar and songwriting. He's been a musician for a long while, in fact I think he was working with Sony before he was diagnosed, due to his being bed-bound, they dropped him. I might have a few things missing here, but this guy's got the walk to back his talk.
He's nasty. You can tell he's trying to be his own person. I love the story he has so far.
I'm British and 61 to day is the 1st time I've come across him ,Now I like all Types of music, and I believe I have just seen a musical GENIUS. sincerely.
He really is a GENIUS
I’m 56 on the UK. Listened to music all my life. Had kind of given up on new stuff in the last ten ten years. then - Ren.
@@spruce381I'm 70, I feel exactly as you do. I also love how Ren takes inspiration from musicians who were about before he was born and shows them respect. His parents gave him a well grounded upbringing.
I've heard this song at least 20 times now and everytime I watch it I still tear up when he stands his ground and stands up. I'm not very religious, but this makes me feel something.
I think it's just the fact that it signifies him standing up to his inner demon. Someone taking control of their life. Powerful
Me too. Seen so many reactions and I always very hopeful after that
That something you feel, you know what it is. 🙏🏽
EVERY TIME
We are spiritual beings, created in God's image. We wrestle not against humans but spiritual forces of Good and Evil. The Good news is that Jesus defeated Evil (Satan) on the Cross.
Dude, if you're tearing up now, watch the video for a second time. You're gonna full blown cry!
I have watched it multiple times 😂
Somebody better write Oprah and the Grammy’s and tell ‘em this kid IS READY! He’s earned it!
If he doesn’t get those two things, there is no justice based on merit in the world.
Best art, best video, best new artist, best song, EASILY, HAND’S DOWN 🙌🔥
And fellow artists, watch out! REN just raised the bar by 10 miles - keep up! The future of music is here, and his name is REN. ❤
You’re preaching!
Why Oprah, he is already gonna make it
I’m still stunned that (as I understand) he performs/records live as he makes his videos. The vocals aren’t dubbed over. 🔥🔥🔥
That's so crazy. I didn't even notice that until someone pointed that out here in the comments. This dude is the real deal
Ya and he got this on the 4th take! 4 takes to get all of the lighting and the performance so perfectly imperfect is just amazing. Huge shout out to his friend that produced the video.
No way this way live!!! that's just mind blowing, he's incredibly talented
@@chrisvclements In the comments of Jonathan Hiller's (Filmmaker Reacts) reaction to Hi Ren Samuel Perry-Falvey who filmed it, clarifies how they did it. A combination of 2 takes with sound recorded live.
When I see music like this....I think of how many artists are out there that music industry turns their back on because "they are not commercial." They have a right to be heard just as much as anyone. Look what the world is missing because of the greed of money.
I agree. It's so sad. Makes ya wonder if we the listeners are the problem or if theyd push trash on us anyways
This song made me absolutely sob, so simple and yet powerful
It really is
Another YT reactor said "Ren is a Wormhole, I need to deep dive this guy" and that's exactly it - I, like thousands of his Community (for that is what his presence has created amongst his followers), see him with one performance and automatically we feel compelled to deep dive and watch everything he has produced- and each piece is so unique, a surprise, covering a multitude of genres brilliantly. He's a lyrical and performance genius (his solo piano playing is exquisite) who truly captivates his audience and draws them into his world, yet so authentic and humble. His Reach is two- pronged I feel: those who simply enjoy and appreciate his musical and performance genius; and those who resonate with parts of his story as he articulates our own pain and struggles, our own battles of Darkness and Light. Imo, he's a celestial being, an Earth Angel, a born Warrior of Light and is now stepping into his Power and breathing life and blood into his wings to shine his Light of hope, inspiration and validation through the myriad of gifts and talents he has, and with this piece in particular has created a Portal for so many others now to feel safer to step into and express and expose themselves, their perfections and imperfections, their mental health struggles and demons that is normally so stigmatised and deeply misunderstood by those who've not experienced it. I'm so glad for him this deeply personal, vulnerable masterpiece is now giving him the reach and spotlight he deserves - he's worked so hard for it -"Renlentessly" - for so long whilst still battling ill health. He really will continue to rise in the music that he leaves behind...
Wow. What you wrote is beautiful. Thank you.
Trilogy Jenny's, Screech, Violets tale(whole) takes story telling to another level.
I'm definitely gonna check those out
@@TrevandErin Just look for "Jenny's Song (Full)" if you want to do a reaction to all 3, but it might be a good thing to do them each individually in order, for more content - which is fine because he wrote them at different times and combined them into one big song after the third was written. Chalk Outlines (Live version) is also another decent one-take performance.
Love ur words.......excellent stuff
It's emotionally powerful when he stands up. Tears of joy.
It is!
Lol we all teared up brother. Ive watched every reaction to this song and still get chills
I'm gonna have to binge some reactions to this later 🤣
We may not all hear voices but our imperfection means we're all in conflict with ourselves to some degree. “It is this eternal dance that separates human beings from angels from demons from gods.” I reckon that’s genius
That really is genius. We do all have that side whether we admit it or not. It may not be to these extremes but we definitely have that devil on our shoulder
At 17 he was misdiagnosed with schizophrenia and given psychotropic drugs which exacerbated the problem. Int turned out he actually has Lyme disease. He was actually signed to Sony just prior and they dropped him when his condition was diagnosed and so he never made any recordings.
WOOOW that is crazy.
I'm not even religious and I tear up almost every time. It's just raw, emotional and hits you on a humane level
Facts
This has everything and nothing to do with religion. It has to do with perspective and truth. It that religion? Sometimes. Depends on who you talk to.
@@denniskohl9340 when he says something like “I was made by his hands” in the “I was meant to be broken and twisted” it has a very religious subtone (at least to me, he seems like the angel to the devil)
@@linkloyan4624 He does use a lot of religious allegory but it's not a religious song. He's simply saying, this is his lot, his life, and he has to deal with it.
I am and to me it's so frustrating that people don't seem to get ren is obviously hinting that if you challange the devil be ready to get mentally ill.
Welcome to the world of Ren. I have seen Ren busking many times and it is wonderful to see everyone else catching up. You have an exciting journey ahead of you. Enjoy!
Wow! You've seen him busking? That's crazy. Dude is absolutely a creative genius
@@TrevandErin Yes, many times. Sometimes with The Big Push (check them out too!) and sometimes with others. It was obvious from when I first saw Ren seven years ago that he was special and I am glad now the rest of the world is beginning to see it.
@@TrevandErin By the way, check out these two videos of Ren busking (I was lucky enough to be present at both of them). Then start diving!

Wow I’m jealous🥹 I’ve been following him online for abt 4years now but I’m like 10.000miles away from Brighton so the only way to see him in an actual concert is promoting him and getting him big😂 hope that it will come true one day
@@nguyenngoc-ee8lc I do feel lucky to have witnessed all those busking sessions - and to have spoken to Ren (who is lovely, by the way) - many times.
This was a very enjoyable, honest, and heartfelt reaction. God bless you. "Hi Ren" is the song that put Ren on everyone's radar over the past month; it went viral and garnered more than 2 million views in a couple of weeks, but he has been creating great music for more than 10 years. His latest release, "Sick Boi," is almost another chapter to "Hi Ren." I am 57 y/o, and I only recently learned about Ren and have gone down this rabbit hole ever since. Many of the subjects, experiences, and emotions expressed in his songs touch me on a very personal level because I can relate to and identify with many of his struggles.
A little background on Ren that I gathered from the internet. Ren pursued a career in music from an early age. In 2009, while studying music performance at Bath Spa University, he began to experience health issues and was struggling to attend his lectures. In 2010, he was signed by Sony Records and was working on an album when his health deteriorated to the point where he was unable to continue. His illness often kept him in bed for up to 23 hours a day. Ren was initially diagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, and chronic fatigue syndrome. It would take seven years before he was finally correctly diagnosed with autoimmunity, Lyme disease, and brain damage. Ren eventually underwent stem cell therapy in the United States, which improved his health, but it has not been a cure. He is currently in Canada for more treatments.
He plays multiple instruments, has amazing vocals, is an excellent storyteller, and is quite the philosopher and poet. Check out the trilogy "The Tale of Jenny/Screech/Violet." It is haunting and has an unforeseen conclusion; WATCH THEM IN THE STATED ORDER, as this is the flow of the storyline or just watch “The Tale of Jenny & Screech (Full),” which includes “Violet’s Tale at the end. It is another example of Ren’s genius and a master’s class in storytelling.
Ren’s collaborations with Chinchilla (“Chalk Outlines,” “How to Be Me”) are beautiful and showcase his singing voice while addressing mental health. I would watch the official live music videos. "Chalk Outlines" is one of my favorite songs right now. Ren's personal reflections are threaded through many of his songs; "Insomnia," "Depression," “Diazepam," “Penitence,” “Dear God,” “Heretic,” “Dominos,” his "Freckled Angels" album, just to name a few, all deserve a listen. His song "Money Game" (Part I & II) is another recommendation.
His performances with Sam Tompkins (“Blind Eyed,” “Earned it /Mans World / Falling”), Eden Nash (“Humble,” “Ocean”), Bibi (“Crutch,” “Ahiahiaoha”), Molly McKinna (“Penitence”), his former bandmate, Romain Axisa (“French Song”) are all great. Ren's performances as a member of the band "The Big Push" (which unfortunately broke up) are awesome and well worth checking out, both the busking (street performances) and their live recordings. Ren's covers of "I Shot the Sheriff," "Oh My Woman," "Wade in the Water," "An Englishman in New York," and so many others are equally impressive and really give you a sample of his vocal ability.
Ren just released his latest single, “Sick Boi.” In anticipation of his stay in Canada for more treatments, Ren prepared some music ahead of time to be released over the next 3-6 months that he expects to be gone. "Sick Boi" is almost another chapter to "Hi Ren."
Wow thank you so much for all the information! I'm definitely interested in checking those songs out. Sick boi sounds cool because it's a continuation of this one and a other one that stands out to me is Dead God
Wow that's a resume I couldn't have said better. You can clearly say how much you're in awe for Ren's art. And I totally get that. What an amazing journey he will have 👍🏻🥰
Ren has lyme disease but was misdiagnosed for years.
He is in calgary now for treatment, for a half year.I hope that this genius can be cured🙏
Please react to sickboi,another masterpiece.
I will. He truly is a genius
Your reaction to this song was beautifully authentic.
I'm a 45 year old mother of 3 and this song really got me ❤️
I think Ren is a poet.
"The voice that you hear when you loosen the noose on the rope" 😢
Hope!
And through Ren, by watching his Chalk Outlines, you’ll be introduced to Chinchilla. Not rap. Displays his vocals and her amazing vocals.
Interesting. I'm hyped to check it out!
@@TrevandErin do it, man. You won't regret!
Chalk Outlines is feckin amazing. It's madly good.
I spent all day yesterday, watching first time reactions to this song.
This is one incredible dramatic piece put to music. Indeed art.
It touches people on many levels.
Mostly because, we all have inner demons that we face. Whether it's doubt, self esteem issues, addiction or mental illness.
It's relatable to people in all walks of life.
Because, of that people are connecting in an unexpected place. Each other.
People have been sharing incredible stories of personal struggles and how they are coping.
Thus proving people are not alone.
In one song, he proved himself as a genius and his waves seem to be tsunami in size.
I'm happy to have found you. I subscribed right away.
Thank you so much!
And that, like most of ren's videos, was recorded live in one take. Incredibly impressive for a 9minute song. Musical genius!
That's insane!
I discovered this song and video 1 week ago. It stunned me, I had never seen or hear anything like this before. Its art, it combines music, classical guitar, singing, theatre, emotional stages , powerful lyrics, good video recording, poetry and powerful messages... its all in one package! 😊
Yes!
I have become obsessed watching others react to Ren. It brings me so much joy to see others experience what I felt and still feel when hearing Rens music for the first time.
I have listened to most of Rens back catalogue and my apptreciation for him only deepens. Thanks for sharing Rens music on your channel and best wishes for future growth and success in this community you're building. Much respect from Melbourne Australia. 🙏🌏💙
Thank you so much! I'm gonna do chalk outlines tomorrow I think!
Well said!
I hear much of Ren work, but this music video is the best of all!
Artistic genius at work here! Check out some of his street performances in Brighton, England. His vocal range is impressive and very powerful!
Truly a creative beast
I’ve probably listened to the song 100 times now and I still tear up, every damn time. Been telling everybody my allergies are getting me lol
This one is awesome. I’ve listened to ren so much since this
My Nf cousin from ga! I tried telling you weeks ago that he’s amazing, can’t wait to see your reaction to his trilogy in order Jenny’s tale, screeches tale, and violets tale. And I know that you love your guitar playing so yeah enjoy those and everything else this man can do cuz! See you next time sir!!
Y'all have definitely been trying to tell me! I'm late to the game I need to start listening to y'all better
I just heard this song yesterday ☺️ love both Ren and Sam Tompkins. Sam's voice is just amazing. Ren is amazing performer and I think he can do just everything ☺️ sing, play instruments ,perform, Rap......
❤ Sam Thompkins.
I definitely gotta look into more Ren. This was a creative masterpiece
@@mnfarmgirl55 ❤️ Sam is sooo good ❤️
Yeahhhhh, blind-eyeded, what went wrong I& II are all so good
That you tear up while listening proves that you are human!
Ren is phenomenal.
He really is.
Gobsmacked was exactly how I described my reaction!! 🤣He is simply a mind blowing genius!! Great reaction Trev!
Lol that's the only way to describe it. I've never said gobsmacked in my life 😂
Y'all got smacked in ya gob!!
Americans don't call a mouth a gob, right? As in, shut your gob?
No problems with the pauses. I did exactly the same thing the first time I listened to it. I love complex lyrics that need to be broken down. I also love his acting ability, Ren is a Storyteller in the best way, he pulls you into the songs and you'll find that there are different storylines with their own characters. He is a truly unique voice with so much to say.
Yeah this one brought out the pauses in me. I can't wait to check out more!
Song of the year..pure art!!
This is the definition of musical artistry telling a story through a unique medium. Nothing but respect
The fact he did this live and without fault is just unreal, good reaction and breakdown
It is truly insane
You made me laugh so hard in the beginning when you said "Definitely looks like a nightmare" 😂
😂
He’s not just an actor. He goes through this everyday. ❤❤
What's really crazy that a lot of people don't realize is that this was recorded live. If you look he has a little mic on his collar. He has so much great music individually and with the big push they did some great covers of some classic stuff. Black Sabbath, Bob Marley, the stones all types of cool shit
I definitely didn't realize this until y'all told me
I've seen so many men cry watching this. Welcome to my world. Great job.
😂 it’s such a good song that strikes a chord
Thanks, Trev. My new hobby is watching Ren reactions. Yours is one of my favorites!
Thank you so much!
I really hope you do the Trilogy next..Jenny then Screech then Violets story..Ren will not disappoint you!
I will! I'm hooked on Ren now. This dude is next level creative
I always tear up when I hear this song. “Some people know me as the voice that you hear when you loosen the noose of the rope“ Thank you Jesus
I always just passed by this song. Never really wanted to give it a try, until I saw you had reacted to it. Now I'm sitting here listening to it and I'm actually digging it. Thank you for getting me to actually give it a try. It's pretty good not going to lie!🖤💚
Thanks for watching with me! It's a song that I wouldn't say I would listen to on the radio BUT to me it's like a TV show. I may come back and listen to it again to relive the episode but it's not regularly watched if that makes sense. This song is musical art 100% one of the most creative songs I've heard
I'm so excited you are doing this song!!!! Can't wait for your reaction.😁
Edit: I knew you would like this. I cried like a baby when I first heard it. I sadly relate to this song so much. I pray & write poems when I start getting into a dark head space. My daughters & husband keep telling me to publish a book of my poems, but they are all fairly dark & it wouldn't feel right putting my pain out there.
I know you don't wanna share it's TOTALLY understandable. BUT It'd be awesome to read them someday. If you ever share them let me know!
@@TrevandErin I will def let you know. I have them packed up somewhere so if I can get to them I will share a couple. I personally don't think they are good. Most of them I wrote in just 10 minutes so I feel like the writing is sloppy. My oldest daughter was helping my dad go through some of my moms stuff today (my mom passed in 2019 & laid to rest on my b-day) found an old poem I wrote for my mom when I was a teen, so if I can figure out how to share it with you up here I will.

I don’t know if you noticed, but this song was performed live. You can tell by the mic he has on his gown. Another great song by Ren that was performed live is Violets Tale.
I did not notice that to be honest. That's absolutely insane
Jenny's Tale, Screech's Tale and Violet's Tale are a trilogy of songs that were all recorded live.
We tear up because he speaks of the truth. We all need Hope, without him,we have nothing.
"Why am I tearing up"... Because you have a soul.
😂 true
That last character is Ren speaking to all of us who need his music. Let his story give us hope.
I listen to every review of Hi Ren that comes into CZcams. Your review is among the best. Thanks. BTW: 72 yo musicman.
Ren is in his own CLASS.
I still tearup listening to him.
He also says "you sound more insane than I do" which is of course hilarious in context.
You’re right lol
the struggle is real, and he has shown us his in the beautiful masterpiece. the struggle with ones self, thanks for the reaction video
Thanks for watching
He really is a great advocate for mental health and cares
He is!
1 take genius!! Pure brilliance of 9 minutes from Ren.

I don't know how someone can NOT tear up to this song. I've watched probably 100+ reactions to this song and I tear up as much on the 100th as I did on the 1st. It's such a moving performance. And congrats...You have one of the best reactions to it. When people are watching a reaction, what they want is to witness someone to honestly experience it. As much as you paused, it comes across to the viewer that you have digested every word. Bravo.
After hearing this a few times and u listen, I u me we all are forever changed. Thx Ren ❤️
You’re right ren is a beast thanks ren
Amazing reaction to this masterpiece of art Ren has set before us and allowed us to be a part of. I just heard this man about a week ago and I was blown away too. Keep diving, only gems upon gems in store for you to view and absorb. Next one has to be The Tale of Jenny & Screech (Full Story). You have to do them together in order so its best to go with the full story in one reaction. Much love and respect bro!
I will 100% check out more Ren. I'll do the trilogy!
Epic!!
It really is!
Heard this for the 1st time last week and have watched countless reactions to it since. The same feels I got for The Search, I got with this video. Your reaction was definitely in the top 2 I've seen. Appreciate you and love your hat. Keep up the good work and I think someone else suggested, check out Ren's trilogy next.
I will. I appreciate it! I have like every color available for this hat. It's the best fitting hat I own.
Great job on this! Enjoy your reaction a lot.
Thank you so much!
So cower at the man I've become
When I sing from the top of my lungs
That I won't retire I'll stand in your fire
inspire the meek to be strong
The meek are men who know war but hate it, see it as a last resort.
🔥🔥
this is easily the 100th reaction video for this song that I've watched. I STILL cry when a reactor like yourself, really gets it, and Ren gets to " the voice that you hear when you loosen the noose on the rope" STILL crying. Love it. Great reaction I felt it this way too.
Love your reaction. It is ridiculous! Unbelievable. You pick out all the subtleties! Not many reactors did this!
I appreciate it! I try my hardest to pick out what I can. This song is definitely unbelievable
Since I first viewed this "work of art", I have done nothing but watch reactions. Yours has been my favorite! I just wanted to point out something. When he says "I will kill you", it's not suicidal thoughts. The "sane" Ren, is saying he will ki the demon Ren. Only mistake was, he says "lock you inside". Ren has discovered a lot of truths. I wonder, just how much he truly understands about what he has learned. How deep his understanding goes. I think he has reached true discernment, in this truth. People think of the human body as a one seater. That it has one soul, and nothing more. This is wrong. Every human has a back seat. If we don't invite in the Holy Spirit, then we are left open for a demon, a fallen angel, to become the back seat driver. Notice Ren challenged evil at the age of 17. And his trouble started. He hadn't made a relationship with our Heavenly Father. And evil took him up on his challenge. And he has been sick ever since. I pray Ren evicted that evil spirit. You can't kill them. And you certainly don't even want to "lock them inside". You want to invite in the Holy Spirit. And let the Holy Spirit throw out the evil spirit. Notice how he said he "softened". Learned to relax. He became HUMBLE! "Through HIM all things are possible. But ONLY through Him! New age religions tell people that we are all gods. Evils deception! We are humans. Flawed by nature. And God's children! With the authority over evil! But only if we humble ourselves to God.
Thank you for this reaction! It is my favorite one. GOD BLESS
it's a bit debatable, since "demon ren" IS him. Which demon ren even expressly says.. it's fair to consider that normal ren could consider killing himself to be free of his demon.. Anyway, its got a lot of layers, and enjoyable to spend time thinkin on the layers as they apply to our own stuggles!
LOL The moment Ren starts singing towards the end is where everyone pulled their image for a thumbnail.
But I respect you're decision to be unique and have a normal expression for your Hi Ren reaction 😂
😂 stop
The negative personality is called a shadow. This is representative of conversations he's had in his soul countless times over the years.
Interesting
The only reactor who couldn't figure it out
so cool to watch again this masterpiece but with you in addition giving even more to it !
Thank you for watching with me
Ren is the real deal! He's walked the walk and can definitely talk the talk. He has an amazing voice, can play phenomenally, and can also beat box! He is just amazing!!! So happy people are going down the Ren rabbit hole, check out The Big Push it's the band he plays/played with.
He really is the real deal. I'm definitely gonna do more of him! That's why I love reactions and reactors I honestly wouldn't have heard of him i don't think if I didn't get suggested this song and see all the reactors reacting to him
Oh my goodness your reaction to the people's thumbnails made me crack up. 😂

This is absolutely a work of art and impactful
😂
I discovered Ren 4 months ago, still blown away listening to his back catalogue, takes story telling to another level modern day minstrel, Baird.
His psycho side was speaking facts when he was talking about him being a genius 😂 he deserves to call himself a genius
And the Grammy for The Most Use Of The Word LIKE In A Reaction Video goes to….
You're the first reactor to this song that I've seen that pointed out his specific movement's in his head turing. It's like he winces as he turns his head. Like he's affraid of the other voice as he turns. Just so so incredibly well done.
It's an amazing performance. I think it's right up there with Freddie Mercury at Live Aid, or the Pink Floyd reunion for Live 8, or Hendrix on the Lulu show, or the Adele Tiny Desk concert - it's as good as any of them. Not just the musicianship of a top singer, rapper and guitarist, but the ability to inspire people to make the video, and to get them to understand and execute the vision. Make no mistake, this is the start of something very big for everyone involved.
[And if you think Ren is the best singer in his sphere, check out his stuff with Chinchilla. I hope they are still making music together. So much talent.]
This was definitely AMAZING
I think we all got caught off guard with that one I was on a packed train with tears coming out my face 😀
😂 I didn't come into this song thinking I was gonna get tested up
Don't leave out the .... WOW and then longgggggg silence at the end of the video. ❤️
One of the best reactions so far.. and I have seen sooooo many !!! Well done sir !!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!
I did Finnish watching you, I apologize. I watched this video, first time , never heard of the guy. And for the next three days couldn't stop listening to his music. What an amazing artist. Ren deserves so much love from us. So many people will, it will help so many people. Just my opinion... maybe not try to sway your audience's view on what they're experience is . Still react but let your subscribers watch and react more at the end. I appreciate you. I did subscribe. It's not as easy as you make it look. Respect bro
I appreciate your feedback and giving it a chance. I normally don't pause this much. I just had ADHD take over 😂 sorry if I replied standoffish. I tried to say what I was feeling and how I interpret the lyrics. Most have seen the video before so it's kinda just like me trying to figure it out and enjoy it. Again I appreciate the feedback and you giving it a chance. Maybe you'll enjoy my future reactions where it's more just lyric breakdown with humor involved but not too many pauses
Do his Trilogy! Do his Trilogy! Do his Trilogy!
😂 I will!
@@TrevandErin Yay!!!
I discovered Ren half a year ago....never get tired watching and listening to him...and you made an awesome reaction Video!

I's live. Let that sink in as a performer.
It’s crazy! I didn’t realize that at the time of this recording BUT I’ve watched so much ren I now realize he is a unique talent. CRAZY
@@TrevandErin Agreed. I'm 50 now. I was a studio engineer through the 90s and a bit into the 2000s. I've recorded a lot bands. Some top 40, some are not. I've also worked on music for film and TV. I've never seen anything like this. He's very special. I hope to see him do all the things he wants to do and say.

I've watched probably 45-50 reactions to this and yours is the most 'genuine'
Listen to it again and catch how he also changes the pitch for each “ren “ on the guitar. This is next level.
