There was recently an announcement regarding the changes to the way you can buy CSP starting next year.
This video was recorded and edited before the announcement was made and I wasn't aware of the changes beforehand so I didn't touch on it at all.
That being said, all the features mentioned in the video are available on the current version (1.x) and should be available on the perpetual license for 2.0 on the PC

Krita is a pretty great alternative to csp I tried it before and it’s nice !

Nope
Depends. But you can always give it a shot yourself. I played around with Midjourney and got some... results (you get 25 free images, or something). There are others though that are completely free and run on your own machine.

Some people paid $20 dollars in 2017 for this program and feel "betrayed" because there's a 2.0 version.
Seriously people, you still think CSP is this evil corporation who abuses their customers, YOU CAN STILL USE THE FULL 1.0 VERSION WITH ONE-TIME PAYMENT
It's the 2.0 version that is subscription based, you guys bought CSP1 and now get mad because you have to pay again to get CSP2. I personally don't like subscription based programs either, so I will stick to CSP1 which I bought for dirt cheap and already has a ton of features not even half of you even know about
Also as a side note has any of you heard of the word "sustainable business model"? Think people giving you 20 dollars 7 years ago is enough to keep paying the developers? In a world where they have to compete with other subscription-based programs? Give me a break!

*and* from what I have gathered its just the Quality of Life updates for CSP v2.0 that are subscription based, you can still buy the base 2.0 version for a one time fee
I think people are more annoyed or rather worried that the whole software may turn subscription base, and are more willing to pay for like assets instead of subscription, and according to people csp just worded it bad. But idk, I am just a person who uses free apps:/

Clip Studio Paint did a very cunning thing: pay lots of well-known art youtubers to promote their products then, tell them to upload their promotions at a specific date, after CSP's changes announcements, to create a façade about their public image.
@@rr.studios yeah ik, but in this context it doesn't really apply that much because they made the ad before what happened, so it's not something they did now to defend the company yk
