Hi Tapan, my daughter has applied for public relations 1 year post graduate certificate in Humber college for Jan 22 intake that will finish in January 23 that is a 3 semester course 2 year study and 1 year coop . I'm bit confused that if she will take that program how she'll go for another 1 year program in May as May has very less no of options. I want her to take 4 months gap after Jan 23 for next year fees and all. Pls suggest
So every students involved in Co op will earn much more than those who earn through normal jobs or it depends?

there is no best college for everyone. you'll need to find one which perfectly fits your needs, the one that is best for you.
My diploma is co-op so its compulsory for me to do work for 4months after 2 sem!!!!!?
My Admission letter came with Co-op work permit for business management. 84 hours work placement in fourth semester.

Usually Our optional co op is in the last 4 months after completing 8 months( 2 semesters) of study But I got co op now during my second sem . I dont know what to do.

It's a good program and co-op will help you to get practical experience which will be very useful for you in future. I don't know much about the difficulty level of this program

Being a business student I don't have adequate knowledge regarding your field. However co-op will definitely help you. And Seneca is a wonderful college.

Did your school provide employers or do you need to find them by yourself?
They provided with a few resources that could help. But in my case we had this external competition held by Toronto Municipality which could be counted as a part of co-op.

Yes it's usually an open work permit unless it specifically mentions "not authorized to work for any employer other than stated" who can apply to change this condition as well. Yes you can get paid full time job

There may be options to add co-op to your program. I would recommend that you talk to your students support center and international department to make sure you cann add it and it's safe for your profile

No, you will be charged co-op fees while you are paying for your tuition fees. So let's say if you tution fees is 8000 then you will be charged 200/300 (which is generally included in your tuition. In summer you won't have to pay anything as you would have already paid your co-op fees in earlier semesters.
