A COOP is a program offered by a university to take time off in between semesters to work as a trainee for a lesser wage, where the university will assist you in getting a job with companies with whom the university has existing agreements and relationships. If one gets accepted to work as a student trainer under the coop program, the job is called internship.
Once in a coop program, when the time comes to find an internship, one has an option to use the university’s help or find an an acceptable internship by oneself.
An internship under a coop program requires that the student pay a coop fee to the university for the help it will provide, provide a written report to the university after the coop program internship. Additionally, the university will ask the employer to provide a report about the students work as well.

Depends on the industry, the location and the job.
It can be peanuts or it could be a $100k annual rate.

Wages will depend on the type of full time work the coop student will do and the type of company they will work for. Cheap small companies and subjects of low demand like history or library studies will almost in all likelihood have low wages. High demand subjects like data science, machine learning with work internship in FAANG will have very high wages. So, it depends.

Go to a university that offers coop.
      Not all universities offer coop.
Just do full time jobs in the summer if you can.
Start with volunteer good gigs for free if you have to, to get something on your resume. Be careful though, don’t get exploited for free labour too much. However, once you show you’ve worked for a summer, the next summer, your chances of getting hired will improve significantly.

When I have submitted my application for master of applied computer science (Fall 2022) there was an option to select co-op, I have checked that, does that mean I was enrolled in co-op or I have to register explicitly in co-op site?

Hey Vinamra. Nothing special. I don’t do any kind of post processing. It’s the iPhone video, and mic is comica dual channel mic. For editing I use Final Cut Pro but just use that to cut and attach the clips. Nothing fancy
