Edge must be the best wingman in rock music history. Not only is he consistently note perfect with a spot on sense of timing that helps keep Bono anchored to the song, he’s also got his back on the higher notes.
There's that interview with them where Bono said the annoying thing about Edge is that he could do it all himself-- write, play the instruments, sing, and produce it all by himself-- to which Edge very sweetly replied "It's not as much fun." ❤
They still sound pretty good, and they are an amazing band, but I think that given that they were performing at the Sphere a good set of light effects in the background playing along with the beautiful guitar accords would have given a lot more power to the song
