"In honor of the 60th anniversary of "Ominira" originally released in 1959 by Ambrose Campbell & his West African Rhythm Brothers, we've visited our Rhythm Brother, Uzi Mayer, in his home studio in Rhein Valley to develop this EDIT! We were mesmerized by this epic song since a long time and are really happy to show you the result! It is full of respect and love to the original.."
Ambrose Campbell (19 August 1919 - 22 June 2006) was a Nigerian musician and bandleader. He is credited with forming Britain's first ever black band, the West African Rhythm Brothers, in the 1940s, and was also acknowledged by Fela Kuti as "the father of modern Nigerian music".
