The legal bumper ride seems like a never ending one for the embattled former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele, but he is trudging on. In the latest chapter of his legal trial, Emefiele has pleaded not guilty to allegation of printing 684.5 million naira notes with 18.96 billion Naira. During his arraignment at the FCT High Court, Abuja by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on a four-count charge, he pleaded his innocence to the allegation

Despite the Court giving order, he ( Former Central Bank Of NIGERIA Governor, Godwin Emefiele ) did not obey the order before the then President Muhammad Buhari intervened and the Supreme Court gave the order either in MARCH or APRIL 2023.
