I honestly like more these types of videos, where you give tips and try to improve the playerbase's gameplay than just streaming games all the time and joke around. I know it gives more trouble, but it is also more entertaining and usefull.
I thought I was watching Spartan Elite for a moment there! Holy christ dude! Excellent play. I've been playing for years but never tried watching stuff to get better. Now here I am, and I'm better 🤣🤣
Thanks for the video aron dds are definitely my least played class (besides cvs but they don’t count as a real ship) so I definitely needed some tips on how to play them
Thanks for the effort, Aaron. I appreciate you taking the time to explain things. New DD players would really benefit from viewing this kind of video, given that WG does an abysmal job in explaining its own game. The only other CC who does this kind of video is Tbull. I noted you even threw in a “peace” at the end. Is that copyright infringement? Lol.😊
Awesome job explaining what a DD should be doing. I know I have screwed the pooch with DD's . I have learned to control an area with torps and spotting . Challenge enemy DD's when practical and create as much chaos for the enemy as I can. P.S. DON'T YOLO AFTER THE CARRIERS !
When starting I pay close attention to enemy divisions. For example the Fletcher is with the Cleveland here, so they will be near each other. My big issue is cap circles - I've stopped charging cap circles from the word go, instead I flank them and try to spot, control of caps is important during the game, and at the end more so than at the start. But getting in 1v1 punch ups can get you killed in the first 3 minutes, especially if the enemy destroyer that's trying to cap is supported and I am not. The caps aren't going anywhere, if I stay alive I can come back to cap later. A less aggressive play style is getting me better results.
running a dd, do everything you can to spot enemies and stay alive. then send torps where enemies should be headed if possible cap my last game in a dd this was how I ran it, got down to only me and one other teammate, we won. I got damage only from zone denial torps until there were only 2 enemy left, gunned last hp from one and used my speed to chase down the carrier, keeping it spotted while my bb teammate knocked it down. of 4 dds per team, I was the only one to survive 3 minutes on my team.
GG. Thanks for the lesson. Playing a lot of DD now a days. Got so tired of DDs not doing what is needed. And I'm not even good, but better then what I'm seeing lol. 👍
Wow thats funny both of you and xarkun put out almost at the same time the same ship a really good destroyer that not many people take out but its verru fun to play for experts destroyer players that know how to play!
A unicum dd player cant overcome 8 idiots on their team. Like, i hear you and your points are very valid and noted, but the flipside is if you are in a game where your DD is doing most things correctly, you need to support them, not reverse to the white line, hide behind a rock, or forget your ship has guns. I see just as many of those games as I do games with bad DD play. That's just my experience - YMMV. Also, love the type videos, please keep them coming.
got every nations dd lines to t7, also got kitakaze, sumner and småland. but for whatever reason i just can't bring myself to grind the french as compared to the pan European they just feels bad, sluggish and impractical except for top speed
You can win matches sólo, I’m currently sitting at 56% win rate with 1.75 kill rate Sólo play however if you want a 60% win rate I’m not sure if it’s doable on sólo play cuz it’s true some people do stupid things and get wiped out quick, even people that know what they’re doing do stupid things so what do you expect from players that don’t know what they’re doing.
Had someone tell me on FB the only way to tell if you are a good DD players is badges 😂😂😂. Funny I average 60-80k damage 1-2 caps and 1-2 DD kills and I am usually on top of the team. My goal as a DD player is Kill DD’s and and Cap, any extra damage is just that….extra. Great video, now you need to do a video like this on Capture the base…..I hate that fucking mode lmao.
Sitting in your smoke and shoot the enemy is something 90% of the DD player cant do because only a view DD have this OP combination. In a video that should teach some newbies to get better in playing a DD i expect a strategie that they can learn and use with the ships they have… I hope you understand my point. Show some gameplay at T4 how to be a good DD player with ships from the most played DD lines (Japan or USA).
Playing is T6+ in a BB is just unbearable because of the awful DD play. Loosing all your DD's within the first 4 minutes of the watch, watching red capture the bases and being unable to do anything knowing the match is lost is just so frustrating.
There cant be enough tutorials.... Try mentioning any poor plays on the FB pages...... I've had "how long have you been a real ship captain?" as one of many salty responses to abandoning flanks, reversing BB's etc. Yes, its a game but yes, it's a team game. I have no problem wuth losing a battle as long as its not a walk over due to half the team throwing in a 5 minute hosing.
@@whereruaaron i listened to the podcast the other day with you, Xarkun and Peek. I definately agree that WG aren't doing enough to push content or collaborate with tutorials inside the game. Maybe it would be different uf theyncould shove em behind a pay wall 🤔
