Ok, I can't comment on the other classes but bard. Here is my impression. They way dps bard works, you have 2 spammable skills which each leave a coloured note on the musical score, red or blue. At this point, you can use them for a combo attack, damage depending on the combination you have accumulated: 2 red, 2 blue, or a 1/1 mix in any order. This is your bread and butter, 80% of the time you will be doing exactly this. You can enhance the simple attacks, and there is also an option to improve the combo attack if the combination is different from the one before. Now thanks to the newly introduced macros, it gets interesting. The default macro casts 2 simple skills, and then the combo attack. From my observations, it looks like it never goes for the same combination twice in a row. Now I can't say if this is optimal for your damage per minute; maybe there is a better rotation or better talents. However - with bard being ranged already which usually trumps melee chars - I can see even weaker players doing pretty ok. Imagine putting the attack on a thumb button of your mouse, so you can easily move around while still dishing out damage without giving it much thought. Further testing required upon release.
I played all 3 betas and this is my tier list:
(Ordered best to worst)
PvP Healers - Necro, Bard, anything, Priest
PvE Healers - All healers are pretty good in PvE
PvP DPS - Mage, Shadow, Hunter, Paladin, Bard, Priest, Barb/Warrior
PvE DPS - Hunter, Bard/Mage, Shadow, Paladin, Warrior, Priest, Barb
Tanks are all decent in their own ways
Necro is bad for DPS? I don't see them in your list.
@@ryuno2097 to be honest I never raided or saw anyone in my groups as Necro DPS so I just left them out. The list is just based on what I saw from raids, arenas and what my guild has said from their experience. I think Necro is such a strong healer especially for PvP that not many people cared to try and DPS anything we always wanted them to be healing so a Necro DPS might be great but may end up feeling like a black sheep in the group always being asked to heal not DPS.
Is priest really that bad? I picked it cuz I wanted to be a healer first and situational support/dps second. What would be your recommendation for someone who wants to play support but also make a good contribution? I don't play male classes since it breaks immersion for me (bard is out T.T), so I'm wondering what's best out of the female gender classes.
@@kaisahl Necro is your best bet then. The best PvP healer, slightly better overall PvE healer, Not as good of DPS as Bard from what I have seen but player could be a huge factor there and you said no male so Necro is 100% your best bet.
Btw at 4:27 Necro is the ONLY HEALER that CANNOT heal themselves as a dps. I think it should be A, otherwise no complaints.

@@yippy4707 i thought their 1st skill gives heal equal to half the dmg inflicted to the enemy or did they changed it last minute?
I couldn’t target myself and use soul arrow on myself like you can do on priest and bard
@@yippy4707 oh i didn't meant the soul arrow, it's soultrap. you can only use it on the enemy tho, and the heal is not that big (you might also consider it as lifestealing) you only heal for only half the dmg you've dealt to the enemy.
Yeah soultrap does heal, I kinda forgot lol, but it’s not as useful as it has a cooldown on it
Try to play Tales Noir. It's the same system enchanting and mmo. Tarisland almost alike Tales Noir. I recommend yall players try Tales Noir so you know all the systems enchanted and Diamonds trade to golds before Tarisland is launch

I didn't get Shadow swordsman to high level last CBT so I couldn't say but from what I gather he's the top DPS

While I do agree those classes are easier this game has like 5 buttons so the rotations are the easiest of any game of this type and none of them are complicated.
My choice also, anything else will be a Priest

All are good. However for a final verdict, we need the chars at max level 40. Which we couldn't get during the recent 3 days test. And a lot has changed from the 14 days Chinese beta before, so that data is outdated. You will not be rejected because of your class. Your reputation as a player, maybe. Your inferior gear, likely. But not your class. Unless you are maybe the 4th dps necro in a raid. :D Every class/role brings a group buff to raids, so diversity is encouraged. Tarisland going Disney....

Any tier list makes no sense cause the balance is altered on every test, we never got to try max cap properly and early leveling is so fast they have to timegate it with daily caps or pple will reach max lvl in 4hours so it ain't rly matter.

@@FlameCRO Most classes can only be one gender except paladin and mage which is a recent change. The others will change over time they have told us.

This list makes no sense at all, as a new player Barbarian is way easier than the warrior, as a barbarian u got basically 3 abilities for ur rotation, 1 skill for beastly and second for thunder, these both give u points in ur aura bar, when its max u hit ur 3rd ability, simple asf., warrior u got 4 abilities in ur rotation. Mage beein in D tier as a beginner is ridicolous. idk if u only played TBT But this speaks inexperienced and shouldnt be a video for beginners. dont listen to this guy, play wat u want and wat u find fun.
