Димаш отказался от предложения петь в «Астана Опера», сказав что в опере нельзя импровизиррвать, а он хочет попробовать себя в разных жанрах и стилях . Дуэт с маэстро Пласидо Доминго, прекрасная оперная грань Димаша. Это очень сложная работа, и всего за один день репетиций с ней справились на отлично. Димаш вошел в состав жюри и был приглашенным гостем для выступлений на конкурсе молодых талантов классической музыки VIRTUOSOS V4+. Когда бы вы слушали оперу, если бы не Димаш? Спасибо Димашу за наше музыкальное развитие и приобщение к оперном искусству.

Virtuosos exists since 2014 and is for young classical music talents from Eastern Europe mostly. Dimash was invited for the first time this year as one of several judges. He also declined an offer years to join Astana opera to pursue a neoclassical/crossover career, because he found classical singing too limiting.

This was a dream come true for Dimash. He shared that, at the age of 5, he had a VHS of one of Maestro Domingo's concerts. From that time, he dreamed of meeting and working with the Maestro.
This is a competition for young talented classical musicians sponsored by Placido domingo and other famous musicians. Dimash was invited as a judje and sang this duet at the first part of the finals. There will be the second part in January 26 and we hope to be surprised again by another Dimash's performance.

Dimash did have operatic training, and he was actually offered a position with an opera house, but he chose to do his own thing. There’s another reactor/vocal coach who compares this with a duet involving Kaufman/Hvorostovsky (Kaufman is actually an active opera singer, and Hvorostovsky was one of the greatest operatic baritones of all time). It’s really interesting.
This is going to be one of my favorite pieces on Dimash’s channel because I love hearing him sing in this classical style, and Placido is my all-time favorite operatic tenors. This had to be something Dimash dreamed of as a child.

I look at Virtuosos with high regard as the people composing it are the chosen ones in the field of music, but Dimash is definitely a great addition to the show. No one can deny that he brings people's attention and curiousity about the show.

Dimash was offered a job as opera tenor at the Astana Opera right out of university, but he turned it down, so he can do music the way he wanted. The rest of the world wouldn’t have know about Dimash had he stayed in Astana Opera. Think about it?! Yes, this was a huge dream come true for Dimash. Placido invited Dimash to be one of the judge on the young classical artists competition, and they decided to do a duet with only a few days to rehearse this piece. Placido is one of the original 3 tenors from the 90’s. Living legend. There, Placido was 82. Truly, Dimash can sing anything and everything. He is THE BEST. ❤

Dimash fue éste año invitado como jurado y Placido Domingo lo invitó personalmente ha hacer un fuo con él. Todo esto es un honor para Dimah y un reconocimiento sl increíble artista que es. La segunda parte de la final, se transmitirá el 26 de enero. En ésa ocasión se dará a conocer el ganador 🏆 (que será premiado con 5 000 euros más las presentaciones ante diferentes públicos) y Dimash, junto sl resto de los talentosos artistas que integran el jurado, cantará de nuevo. En la primera parte de la final que se transmitió, Fimash invitó a una jiven polaca que toca el oboe, a su concierto de Mayo en Budapest.💖🇨🇺

First, Placido is 83 years old. Dimash and Placido, with 4 others, are the judges of Musical instruments. The participers shoud be 10 years and +. It's difficult to explain. We saw the first part. Not everyone can compete in the Virtuosos show. Based on my research, it is only open to classically trained musicians. It is not like those competitions in the US where anyone who can say some notes can get in. No offense intended.

СССР и был лагерем для народов в нем проживающих. Я жил в СССР и это подтверждаю! Выехать куда-либо из этого лагеря было почти невозможно. Нравилось жить в СССР только тем, у кого "...с головой не в порядке". Аналог СССР, это современная Северная Корея. Потому россия, как наследница СССР и КНДР самые близкие союзники сейчас, что прекрасно понимают друг друга.
I’m sorry but Dimash is far from an operasinger. He voice hasn’t got the depth, sensibility and power he needs to be called an operasinger, perhaps a poperaartist.
