    Greeting from America!
The two wheeled game cart is the ticket for the long haul...
Not bragging, but the deer in the US are bigger and heavier....So a deer cart is the ticket...
You can use it to haul your equipment in and out to boot....😉
They serve a duty around the house in the off season hauling and moving stuff about the homestead also!
    😃😃😃
    Best Wishes Sam. 😁

That sounds like a good idea to be fair, I have considered getting a cart for Pigeon Shooting gear so that would give it a handy other purpose. That said I'm not usually that optimistic that I'll get a buck that day and then you have to cart the thing around for nothing if you don't.

@@srspower I leave it stashed at a stand that I am using... A cable lock and a little camo netting.
I only move it to change stands, move stands, or when needed elsewhere. 😁. Your permsissions are private land.... So John Q public is not much of a issue... And the cable lock only keeps honest people honest....kinda like a house window!
      Just Sayin!
      Best Wishes Sam! 😃

I know that this sort of thing wouldn't be sustainable if the whole population were to do it, but I think there's a lot to be said about hunting your own food. So many people are completely oblivious as to where their food comes from and how their food ends up on their plate. Then, if any of the process is revealed to them, they are shocked and horrified. Some go vegan/vegetarian, but most then continue to walk down the path of ignorance. When you hunt your own food, I think there's a huge respect for the animal and where it comes from. The same can't be said for most people, who don't even commit a single thought to the animal(s) they are eating. Well done on a great hunt and very interesting to see the whole process. :)

Where do you get all these places to shoot? How do you do it? Do you randomly ask land owners? I used to shoot rabbits with my airrifle when I was young and now I've got a licence I wanna shoot them with a 22lr but can't find anywhere or anyone who has the land and rabbits.

Sorry, ferrets. I don't think you'll be eating that one. Congrats on a nice buck. Some time you should come over to Canada. We have some really big fauna.

What happens with all the internal organs? Do you just leave them? I assume they are just left.to be eaten and decompose?
    Great video anyway!

In the field I’d throw them in the hedge to be discreet but in the forest anywhere is fine the foxes will soon eat them. Or the lynx!

Sam. Just posted this on Fudds, as you uploaded your new content. As i Patron of your channel, I have a question for you. As Callum (englishshooting) has lost his SGC/FAC due to Content and Comments. Do you worry that the same will happen with yourself? Maybe you could do a video on this subject. Also will you be posting onto Callum's new site gunroom.tv ? Thank you again for all your hard work.

Do you think you pulled the shot a bit back because the deer was moving as you shot it?

  • @calumteeling6236

Never wash the deer man ever and watch David dunne for gutting deer

    • @masterblob7196
      @masterblob7196 Před 5 lety

I think the never washing a deer is, if it's the same reasoning as game like pheasants and pigeon, because it spreads bacteria around which would normally just be killed off when cooking. So him washing it into the grass is fine.

Nice deer, if you’re a teenager, and that was your first hunt. WTF you could not wait for something older than a yearling? You, Big, badass hunter you. I also noticed you certainly put a lot of faith in your rifles’ safety. Walking around with a round chambered is REAL wise. Especially climbing up into a tree stand with it. Ever heard of firearm safety? How about learning how to properly tag, field dress and clean a deer too?
