I love your videos. As a little girl I would watch my mom sculpt acrylic nails in the dream nails salon where she worked. I even have my son(11) wanting to watch your videos with me. I love the smell of monomer. I will never forget the postbox red nails her one clients would always request. But these are my absolute favorite the almond shape with the rose gold glitter french so gorgeous ❤❤❤

Actually I think in most states you can sue if they cut your cuticules. It's illegal in some, I know, because they're taking away the thing that prevents infection

Maybe she is good at using both hands, i'm left handed but there were times that I wanted 'to be like everyone' and be right handed 😂 so now I can paint/write with my right hand with no problem. I just wanted to share that becouse maybe she's like me :p or maybe she has a tech to do so idk

Thank you so much for these tutorials! I study a diploma of beauty and manicures/pedicure and false nails are apart of this and you really helped me understand nails! And also, the real reason why I'm writing this, I was given a really dodge job at a salon - the polish was streaky and the acrylic powder was not filed correctly. It was lumpy and not the right shape at all! Binge watching these videos allowed me to refile and shape my nails and I am so thankful! I can now apply my own acrylics thanks to you. Xx

Acrylics last pretty long. But your natural nails can grow and it can look wierd lol and thats where you can go back to the salon to get a fill in
they don't break easily. they last at the most 4 weeks. mine have lasted for quite a while it just depends on how you feel when they start to grow out.

I usually do a new set every two months with a fill every two weeks. It depends mine usually lift before they break I usually get two to three weeks without lifting.

about the sealing of the cuticle. i did acrylic on myself once and couple times professionally and whenever it grows in, i have to be careful when putting my hands through my hair because i find my hair strands go underneath the acrylic nail a bit at the cuticle and sorta pulls on my hair. i guess it lifts a bit there? kinda hard to explain but i think that's what she was asking about with the sealing of the cuticle. is that normal when it grows in or it just wasn't done right? is there a way to temporarily fix that if i'm unable to get a fill
the only thing good about that is it's easy to take them off if i feel like it, i just slip floss under there and do a kind of seesaw motion. just wondering if it's normal and that's just how they are growing in or it's not done right.
