I know rj and mbt were concerned about the videos going too long, but I honestly would love to see more of RJ's segment talking about tournament results, format updates, and cards to lookout for on the horizon. I haven't seen a subcommunity in yugioh develop this comprehensively since the edison boom.
I feel like this would be great on RJ's channel, not necessarily in the main videos themselves
Almost like it would be a good idea to actually explore the growing format instead of just letting it grow in the background and not just speed through the eras
They could also do something like history of yugioh where they give some formats more than 1 video.
I think their fear is that long videos typically receive less views because people are put off by the length

Woah. I can't believe Coder lost this one. I thought for sure a deck requiring three unsearchable cards for its only win condition would do better.

I'm surprised they didn't put Dante to 1 after what Farfa pulled off this episode.
3k is the standard for the format, so a 2500 turbo deck isn't threatening enough to see bans.
Farfas deck has like 3 outs to a blue eyes in main, and if he goes into extra, he shuts off his own ba mons. None of the outs are perfect either. Farfa is temporary, fire lake takes a turn, warning is too reactive. The closest thing to a good out is virgil, but even it isn't perfect, given that it loses to every defensive card in the format.
Farfa's deck only looked good this episode because Coder was playing lose the duel turbo. Dante is mid at best.
I have an idea for a really funny deck for Junior Journey. The only thing is that it requires Mystic Mine. It's a really stupid version of Mystic Mine Burn, using Earthbound Immortal Chacu Chalhua to burn the opponent to death, along with Ojama Trio to put three monsters on the opponent's field to lock them down.
My thought process is that all Earthbounds need a field spell otherwise they self destruct. Obviously it's best to use field spell which would give you some form of advantage if you're going to play one of those monsters. Mystic Mine would work well with any of them, but especially well with Chacu because he can just burn the opponent to death with his effect. It does completely blow up to one piece of spell/trap removal but I think it's still a really funny deck to play when you get to the point where Mystic Mine was first released. What do you think?

Notes from an Ancient Gear Mechanic; Here's a way you can really cheese out Last Turn(if they didn't ban it yet, haven't seen all the episode yet);
1)Cyber-Stein on field
2) Special out Last Warrior from Another Planet (pay 5k: current LP 3k give or take)
3)Set either last Turn or Light of Intervention beforehand.
4) activate Light(if higher LP) or Last Turn.
5)bask in the Laminations of your Enemies....
Take it easy gang and don't forget that Golem is still legal in this format for some reason...

The Last Turn rulings would 1000% be overturned if the card was still legal nowadays lol. It really doesn't align with any other modern ruling.
1: You can't activate an effect that cannot resolve (Except Danger-related bullshit)
2: It says whichever monster remains wins the duel, but if they never summoned anything it would probably not apply that effect at all by modern standards.
I just think the episodes were the community gets to play are cooler than youtubers that use decks that haven't used ever or haven't played the format.

Should have kept last turn in the format. Look it's more of an amusing card then anything else at this point im the game's history. Besides as long as you have graveyard effects and a normal summon it's possible to get around it I mean if you can kill the monster your opponent just loses. And don't say it's not possible, Playing any of the newer games that have last turn in it like Yu-Gi-Oh legacy of the duelest is the most recent I can think of that has it in there it's not a solid win con because of graveyard effects.
