Bruce there it is!! Go Panthers!
Panthers fan here - series is far from over. Rangers will adjust - theyre a great team. I expect them to come out flyin' in game 2 and the Panthers must match or better their intensity.
I dislike this comment because it feels like a generic, overused remark that is applied to every playoff series discussion, round after round, year after year.
@@user-yg1dg6xm2g Well tell someone who cares - i don't watch every series year after year - i mostly watch the team i root for. I try to be objective.
Panthers will adjust too. Series is done Tuesday.

Go cats!
Carolina outplayed the Rangers in most games of that series, yet the Rangers still emerged victorious. If relying on a similar strategy against Florida, I expect their luck to eventually run out.
If Carolina had Bob, they would have probably won that series in 6, but Rangers fans will deny this till they die
One game and the series is over? There is a lot of hockey left to play and the Rangers are a great team.
Agree 1000% and I’m a panthers fan

These guys aren’t saying anything is over, most reasonable people know this is a best of 4, but they’re saying that how the panthers played if sustained will win the series. The rangers did get roughed up and need to improve that’s a fact they’re just stating
This series ends Tuesday!
Milk take
What we can learn is that it's time for Rempe to pull off all the stops in game 2
I wouldnt exactly call it a beat down. They just had 6 players on the ice at the right time. Laffy f...ed up. And an empty net is just that. 1 nothing is all it takes to win and shutting down the rangers offense is no small feat, but i wouldnt call it a beat down.
The rangers are not a bad team by any means, but wasn’t there a stretch of 15 mins in the second period where the rangers were held with no shots? It wasn’t a beat down but it wasn’t pretty at all, pretty bad showing. They’ll come out game 2 tho harder, saying this as a cats fan
For the Pres trophy winner to look that inept.... Cmooooon!
Beat down, did they watch the game?
According to the casinos, the Rangers were underdogs and still are. But if you live in a media bubble like NY, you would never know that.
Florida is the better team when 5 on 5. Rangers aren't going to win by adjusting their play style. They need to just play offense and try to get power plays and odd-man rushes. Even with Florida dominant, they were one break and an overtime goal away from winning. They only had two power plays. Florida doesn't get many breakaways nor do they give up many shots but when they make a mistake, due to their constant pressure, it turns into a great chance for the opposing team.
Panthers don’t get breakaways because they don’t try for them, they are hands down the faster team. None of them bail on the plays to get a breakaway they all press the puck as a unit
Panthers are the heavier team not the faster team. But so far this series rangers have six 5 on 5 goals and 1 shorthanded goal. Looking like if they get the PP going Florida will be in a bit of trouble
But... They didnt get beat badly. It was a 1-0 game until the own goal. And i gotta say.... This aged extremely poorly.
Rangers had like 3 breakaways. I'd take nyr chances over panther chances. Other than panthers pressing their will this segment was all horseshit.
This is over soon!
