Asmodeus is voiced by James Monroe Igleheart. He played Genie in the broadway musical Aladdin, he also voiced Vortex in ep 3. So the song is sang by 2 broadway actors

Some really cool details about Asmodeus's design is that old depictions of him actually have him with three heads, a human, a bull, and a ram, and the legs of a rooster. I love how they stylized the old version of him into this. And tbh this version is wayyyy hotter than the OG uwu

@@NevaehEvol Thank you! Nobody takes into consideration the way Stolas would be less inclined to speak out as a royal raised with those customs. Especially with Ozzie being a sin and the king of the Ars Goetia.
14:15: this is the real flesh and blood fizz, the other at loo loo land was just a robo fizz. remember blitze called him a "cheap ass robo rip off of an over rated sell out jester". and in this episode, you missed it but when he was showing the poster from loo loo land, he says "you may recognize this face from my numerous toybotic replicas"
This one is the real deal. A lot of people miss that detail and think they are the same character. They didn't make it very clear.
No no, I caught that he was the real Fizz! I was just pointing out that the real Fizzarolli had heart designs on his costume, possibly as a uniform of sorts to make sure you can tell him apart from the robots ^^ I could totally see how people make that mistake tho

Blitzø doesn’t know that Stolas actually likes him. He just thinks he fetishizes their relationship. He demeaned him in the episodes leading up to this point so it’s not shocking. He thinks his feelings are his and his alone. He’s secretly afraid of rejection.
Some more details like how Asmodeus and Fizzarolli act like a couple. so many moment in their scenes together like the ones you saw and how he reacted when Fizz for hurt. we love them and fans love shipping them. does Asmodeus seem hypocritical from roasting Moxxie for his lovey-dovy song when he does the same? yes but he's a fucking demon and a powerful high ranking one so being a hypocrite is not unexpected. fans seem to forget that.
Stolas and Blitzo's relationship really took a hit tonight and they are both at fault. Blitzo for his lying about bringing Stolas and for his own insecurities and Stolas for his reaction of being called out like that. when he was called out by someone of a higher status in an entire building/club, the owl boy hide. that did more damage to Blitzo than what Fizz and Verosika did. they both hit their lows and it is up to them to overcome it and fans are rooting for them to truly get together.
some more hidden details of Blitzo still not okay are the photos in his home. everything with his face was scribbled out most likely by him. and the photos of his past moment on his phone of Stolas, Verosika before the break up as the tattoo is visible and not crossed out and Fizzarolli with Blitzo as kids and teens showing that he is not only an imp but grew up with Blitzo. with the robotic limbs and the jester hat moving so freely means he is either hiding he is an imp or whatever accident that caused him to lose his limbs also damage his horns to the point they are all but stumps. speculations of course but fans believe it may also be the reason for the big scar on Blitzo's face.
the apps on the phone are hard to miss and some videos go over more details but there seem to be apps made by or sponsored by the other Sins including Asmodeus having a Tender-like app, Mammon with a banking app, and others. again other videos go into more detail so you can check them out.
I feel like Ozzie and Fizz being in love is only a touch hypocritical, but tbh it seems more like a differing of love language than anything else. They are just heavy on the physical touch aspect while Moxxie is more of a words of affirmation type. Fizzarozzie just has a feral kind of love
you're right, as frustrated as I was with Blitz, Stolas still wasn't the picture perfect reaction. I feel had it been a smaller demon rank than him, he likely could've stood up for them, but because it was Asmodeus he panicked
I was actually talking to a friend about Blitz face and Fizz's horns and how they move like a jester hat the other day! We were speculating maybe there was a fight between them or maybe a fire of some sort?
First time I've seen the Banking App. That would be Mamon, the Ruler of the Greed Ring, just as Asmodeus rules over Lust.

A few random facts.
Asmodeus is part of the Ars Goetia in our world, a text about summoning demons, with the rank of a king of hell. He's described as having three heads-a sheep, a bull, and a man spitting fire-and the legs of a rooster. He's explained to be the Prince of Lust in Binsfeld's classification of demons. The series's interpretation thus is that of an anthro rooster with additional heads in his plumage, as Helluva Boss has presented all Goetian demons as bird-like so far.
As the Prince of Lust, Asmodeus outranks Stolas. He also outranks him in the Goetia Family, as Stolas is "only" a prince, while Asmodeus has the same rank as his father, Paimon. Which is why he can effectively humiliate Stolas in front of everybody and our owl boy just has to take it.
So yeah, Asmodeus and Fizzarolli, who had a smashing showbiz career, are what Blitzo and Stolas WISH they were.

To be fair Stolas being excited about taking him out doesn't change how Stolas has treated him to his face up until this point. To Blitz almost their entire relationship we've seen has been sexual and also demeaning. Certainly Blitz's fear of intimacy is blinding him to the situation and Stolas' genuine attempts to at least play the part of a good date, but Stolas' behavior has made it easy for Blitz to read his excitement as some exhibitionist display, as him just being excited to show off his "impish little plaything" and flirt in public which Stolas clearly enjoys despite Blitz's constant loudly and openly expressed embarrassment. Not to mention the whiplash Blitz goes through of having Stolas show up inexplicably excited to go to an erotic club with him calling it their first real date, having Stolas be vocally worried about getting seen before anything even happens, getting berated by his exes for trying to stand up to a Deadly Sin and a guy he hates for his two best friends who are getting publicly shamed by them on their first anniversary, and then have Stolas hide his face and act ashamed when he's singled out for sleeping with an imp, showing Blitz in his already vulnerable hurt state, that no it's not just teasing, Stolas does see him as lesser as an imp, Stolas doesn't actually like him because he respects him and sees him as an equal, and Stolas is only interested in being seen with him when he's getting enjoyment out of it. He's not going to stand by him as a friend when the pressure's on, because he really is just a toy to Stolas, that can get thrown away the moment he's not worth it anymore.
Of course we get enough of a look into Stolas' perspective to gather that's not the full story clearly he has genuine feelings even if he's ashamed and has some internalized biases and isn't great at expressing his feelings... But Blitz never gets to see that. He just got to see the guy he was secretly really enjoying being with hiding his face when he looked to him with apologetic eyes for reassurance and comfort. Sure Blitz should've just told Stolas from the jump "Hey handsome, wanna stalk my employees with me? They're at a nice club, maybe we can even bang later if it goes well? wink wink" I'm sure Stolas would have been just as down and would've had much more context to measure his expectations and more ready for Blitz to speak up for his friends and be more ready to back him up since he knows that's why they're there, because Blitz cares about his friends in his own fucked up way that Stolas almost certainly knows about and appreciates. But to be fair to Blitz telegraphed a lack of enthusiasm and that it wasn't as simple as a straight up date pretty well when he called, and later when Stolas showed up as well, recognizing Stolas cleaned up nice but clarifying he didn't need to put that much effort in. When he does realize Stolas is genuinely engaging with him, he pretty quickly abandons his stalking and gives him his attention, though that only lasts a few seconds before tragedy strikes.
Then when it does and it would be fair for him to express some bitterness and tell Stolas "Hey, that really bothered me. What? You can flirt with me in public constantly, but I can't get one 'Please don't shit talk my friend' when your boss is accusing me of ruining your shit marriage? No, I see how it is, so much for a first date, sorry for being such an embarrassment." instead he bottles it up and tries to be civil and slightly more healthy with his feelings, accepting Stolas' lie that it was fun, being very direct saying he was not interested in messing around, and then responds to what Blitz probably read as "trying to make up for being ashamed and not comforting him when he actually needed it" at best and "just trying to get him inside so they can fuck later" at worst with basically "look I know this is how you see us, I GOT IT, it hurts but I KNOW, it's fine, but I'm not okay right now and I can't do it, so please drop it." All things considered, Blitz deserves a gold star for how he handled that aftermath. Coulda been 2 gold stars if he had an actual CONVERSATION about it, but it's pretty fair he wouldn't have the emotional energy to sit down with Stolas and have a "what are we really" talk when he's already on the brink of tears.
So happy to see this out, absolutely fantastic reaction as always Nev, the dynamic between Blitzo and Stolas is incredibly captivating to watch and only gets more so in the next episode, the show has done such a good job of making me want to see both of them figure things out and come together properly.

@@NevaehEvol I think it’s very intentional that you don’t really understand the depth of Stolas’ real feelings for Blitzo until this episode for the most part.
I think it kind of puts us in the shoes of Blitzo as an unreliable narrator due to his own insecurity and self hatred (the pictures on his wall with his face scribbled out), it kind of allows us to see how Blitzo thinks Stolas sees him, as just a toy for his own gratification, and it’s not until later that we see that Stolas actually cares deeply for Blitzo and neither of them are particularly happy about the arrangement they have anymore. Even Blitzo clearly wants more from Stolas, you can see as much in the Truth Seekers ep (also not sure if you noticed, but the first pic Blitzo scrolls past on his camera roll is a pic of him next to Stolas sleeping with the softest smile I’ve ever seen *cries*) but he’s utterly terrified of pushing their dynamic any further because he can’t fathom Stolas actually caring about him in any real way.
Anyway that was super rambling and I have no idea if it makes any sense lmao, hope it’s at least somewhat interesting to read, can’t wait for the next ep Nev, have a good one.

Welcome to the Lust ring, where Sex is not only the norm but encouraged. it's like every red light district in fiction crossover with the flashiness and horniness of Vegas. as you saw the imps from this ring have wings implying that some imps from different rings look different depending on the ring, both in looks and culture. this episode alone has a ton of background characters of demons from different rings and many fans speculate where they are from. some characters are getting lucky like Pringles, the servant imp that works for Stolas getting a lot of attention from the ladies, (11:07).
Asmodeus is not only the owner of Ozzie's but the ruler of the Lust Ring and is known as the Prince or the Sin of Lust. he basically is above Stolas in both power and ranking. they even got good details as in mythology Asmodeus is said to have three heads, one of an ox, one of a ram and one of a human, and they have the two shadowlike heads of an ox and ram in his fur/collar that matches his face when he emotes.
And the return of the original Fizzarolli, voice once again by none other then Alex Brightman the voice of Boardways' Beatle Juice! but there's more as this episode has not one but two Boardway stars singing. Asmodeus himself is James Monroe Iglehart, the Genin of the Lamp!
a crazy ride that sent us up and down and we feel for these characters. overall a Helluva series (God damnit Barb!) and I can not wait for your take on season two. spoilers...more emotional damage.
Fun Fact: when Stolas says he will be ready in 20, it takes exactly 20 seconds for him to appear with Blitzo so a good meta-joke.
I wonder if working for Stolas makes him more appealing for others, because of the connection to a high rank??

Me: Well, I have seen one CZcamsr react to this episode, and they are asexual, and they said that Asmodeus' design made them uncomfortable. So if an asexual person has that kind of reaction to Asmodeus, then you know he is the embodiment of Lust. Also the fact that he is voiced by the Genie from the Aladdin Broadway is just the icing on top.

I watched a break down video once about the episode. I agree with you that Blitz was a total dick this episode . But the reason he scolded Stolas was because Stolas didnt do anything. Blitz stood up for M&M but as Fizz and Asmodius were scolding Blitz all Stolas did was hide his face in the menucard in shame . Blitz also gave him an angry look as they left the joint . Blitz most likely thought : "okay so this solidifies that you don't love me. You don't stand up for me or us you see me as nothing but a sex toy" but you could hear a crack in his voice with the line "you make it clear all the time" which to me implies he wants the same as Stolas but is afraid to be used as sex toy and this action kinda proved that fear . On a side note : when Verosika was scolding Blitz and called him a "reckless heartbreaking freak" he looked sad at her like : "Shit I really hurt her while I never meant to do that..." but these are all the things how I interpret them feel free to say your thoughts if you read this ^^ . I'm liking this video bc I REALLY want you to see the next episode you will feel more bad for Stolas I at least did so really looking forward to that . Love from a new fan ^^

The voice for the genie from the movie is robin williams. He died long before helluva boss came out. The person who voices Ozzie is the genie from the broadway show.
