My personal theory is that all the rings rulers will have some form of relationship with someone of lower status. With fizz/Ozzie to Bee/Tex it seems to be a recurring theme in the show. Paralleling the Blitzo and Stolas drama.

Also Ozzie wasn't that bad, he was more just trying to keep his club to his vibe. He had all rights to dish Mox for singing lovey dovey stuff in a place if lust. Even in the episode western energy, we can see the text messages between Stolas and Blitz and Stolas wasn't even butt hurt over what Ozzie dished on to him. Blitz was mainly because it was a reality check for him. But now in the newest ep, unhappy campers, Blitz is trying to fix his broken relationships.
Since Bee can change her size, a little detail to note is she specifically makes herself shorter than Vortex when with him.

Fun note that I noticed, Bee is casually changing size constantly. When she lands beside Tex, she's about the same height as him, then she changes to about the same height as Loona whilst talkin to her. And finally she towers over everyone when she's having a drink off with Blitzo.

Loona is at a big party where she literally only knows one other person (well, ignoring the Bitch-Poodle). That is a recipe for awkward.
"You're hot" Loona, who is still probably crushing on Tex, has just realized she has no chance.
I don't know if she's *evil* per se - I mean, deadly sin and all - but Bee is a party girl with exactly *zero* filters.
But Bee is also concerned and looks after the well-being of her guests, hence why she was concerned with Blitz when he begins to drink too much. While Bee feeds off of Gluttony,I feel she feeds off of the good vibe of Gluttony rather than the negative side of Gluttony.
Loona was definitely disappointed to see she wasn't going to be able to sweep Tex away, which is a wah moment fs, but I think it'd be nice for her to have a friend group before she has a partner anyway!
also, i appreciate how much our Deadly Sin of Gluttony looks out for the party guests, but I can't help but feel this sense that it's to make her own ends with good quality honey. I want to trust her, I really do, but there's just something in my souls that makes me suspicious of her! She's still a favorite character of mine tho ♡
@@NevaehEvol I’ve got the same vibe about Bee, I want to love her, but as a deadly sin, I can’t help but have some distrust. Also, I’ve heard through the comment vine that Bee is the one in charge of hellhound adoptions, if you look at the adoption certificate, I think it says Bee or Bel or something, and that the main reason the adoptions are needed is due to the amount of unwanted pups there are due to the gluttony at the parties (reminds me of Blitz’s “Conversations leads to HPV!!” Moment)

Lucifer and Lilith is the king and queen of hell and rulers of the pride ring while Charlie being the heir. 2 The sins are prince and princesses of hell and run their own ring. 3. The Ars Goecia a secondary hierarchy which isn’t explained much but we know they work with the higher ups and have their own armys. 4. The overlords, are demons that run little sections in the pride ring like a gang or corporation to gain their own power.
For thier appearance, I don’t think the demons have a choice on how they look but with powers, the sins have them to grow their power for example bee can just spawn food and protect themselves for example bee and change size on command, I think the Goecias are the only ones that get powers assigned to them by the kings and queens of the Goecias.

I think Bee having parties in Gluttony where hellhounds are more prominent may also be inspired by the Inferno portion of Dante's Devine Comedy. I say that because one of the most significant entities in the ring of Gluttony is Cerberus, a three-headed dog. So you know, hellhounds... three-headed DOG. I'm amazed I haven't seen anyone else mention that possible connection yet. (Or maybe they did, idk...)

This show and hazbin hotel are inspired partially from dante's inferno. The ring of gluttony in inferno is guarded by a cerberus-like entity. that entity is what the hellhounds are inspired by in helluva boss/etc. So this is likely to tie in the hellhound factor, plus she has several bee aspects. They like doing a mish mash of things that fit the theme. Asmodeus was a three headed anthropomorphized peacock which fits the ruler of the lust ring..
also kesha has a fox fursona so its likely why its more fennec fox then regular hellhounds.

Something extra about it is that Viv is also partially basing each ruler off of a circus/carnival act. Lucifer is the ring-leader, Ozzie is the fire-breather, and Bee is the trapeze artist (and from how people have described Satan, he might fit the strong-man theme).
First Tex and now Bee. Loona really can't control her awkwardness when she can't even last 5 words without calling someone hot.

According to Viv, the lava lamp stomach is Beelzebub burning all the food she eats very fast so that is why she is constantly eating this the Sin of Gluttony.
Also you notice she seems to be different sizes when talking to Tex and Loona and when she challenges Blitzo. As a high ranking demon she can change her size and form at will (like when she became super big when yelling at Loona) and seem to change her size so she was at least look them in the eye when she talks to them.

theres lots of theories and stuff that went into her design.
one theory is that she might actually be a fly. her number of wings being one hint.
and the fact her job is to keep the hell hounds under control. it make sense if she was in disguise.
her real compact form might actually look bird like. apparently she is part of the goetia family. tho im not entirely sure on that part.

- Overlords are sinners with exceptional strength but still have limits since they're not real demons, while Bee is the embodiment of Gluttony and that makes her one of the top 10 strongest demons in this universe of Hell (stronger than overlords).
- Bee can adjust her size based on the audience she refers to. As you've saw from the same high with Tex, then reduced a bit for Loona, to towers everybody while she offers a challenge to Blitz or her true form - the giant we saw when Loona pissed her off.
- Bee feeds off of everyone's positive energy so she could make more honey and keep them coming and having a good time in her party, so basically it's a symbiotic relationship cycle: good vibe => good honey => bring more people in => more good vibe and honey, so on and so forth. That's why Bee is genuinely good and treated the hellhounds and imps well because she knows without them, there will be no party, no honey, no life. Plus she knows when a person in her party is having a good time or bad time from the energy she got, hence why she and Tex were concerned for Blitz since he's not there for good time but rather an escape or coping mechanism from what happend at Ozzie's.
Conclusion: Bee is a good character to the core, do no harms but take no garbages. You chill with her, she chills with you. Mess with her, you'll regret everything

I didn't see this in the comments that I read. Bee is not an overlord, she is the sin of Gluttony. She ranks as high Stolas' father and Asmodeus. It's a testament to the writing that some of the best characters in the show are the literal freaking Sins!
I think she'd certainly be the most fun of the Sins to hang out with. Sure she encourages overdoing it at her parties, and seems to feed off the energy, but she doesn't seem malicious. She's up front about what she is. Everyone there seems to know what's what and are happy to indulge. As far as she and Tex being a couple. I'm assuming the relationship is an open one. I can't imagine Bee doesn't have some friends with benefits (lucky them). I think you could trust her as long as you took her nature into account. She's like the friend who you go out drinking with and come home wearing somebody else's underwear on your head.
Basically Hell is divided into 7 rings each with it's own prince to rule over it:
Mammon: Greed
Satan: Wrath
Belphegor: Sloth
Leviathan: Envy
Beelzebub: Gluttony
Asmodeus: Lust
And Lucifer who is the prince of Pride as well as the king of Hell in general
What's interesting to me is, Bee's (the Princess of Gluttony) song "Cotton Candy" can be interpreted as "I'm sweet, but I have no substance". But then you see she's actually a really nice person who genuinely wants folks around her to have fun for real. As opposed to mindless self-indulgence, i.e. Gluttony.
Just like Asmodeus (the Prince of Lust) says loving displays are icky, but he's only a few inches away from candlelight dinners and walks on the beach with Fizz.
Methinks the Sins are not living up to their supposed ideals! ^_-
Beelzebub or, "Bee" isn't as kind as she comes off in this episode. There is a sinister nature to her but then again, she is Gluttony. Given her design she is half Hound and half Bee, that Bee part though, that's the important part. Bee's use pheromones. The Queen will use pheromones to control the hive, the hive which basically doesn't have free will. That cotton candy she is tossing out is likely something she uses to control people in the same fashion as those pheromones. It would explain why everyone is so 'odd' from one moment to the next; like a drugged cult following and the differences in Tex's reactions to her from scene to scene. Compare Loona to doesn't eat any of the cotton candy and even Blitzo who only drinks the 'Juice' which in earlier episodes with Verosika hinted that it's very addictive. Paints a picture between her 'kindness', the way her eyes look from time to time and how everyone acts.

I honestly think Bee had good intentions, she feeds off of the vibes at her parties and makes honey (which she uses to make Beezle juice). Aside from the theory that if vibes are off, it could produce a bad batch of honey, Bee genuinely cares about her guests.
She continues to check on her guests, indulges all their tastes, and makes sure the atmosphere remains happy (even when it belittles her pride). So when she tasted Blitz’s vibe, tasted the self deprecation, she knew he wasn’t indulging for pleasure. He was indulging to forget, and she was worried for him.
Both her and Tex, at least I think, are both very good natured (cause even Tex was worried for Blitz). Bee could have ANYBODY in Hell, and she chose Tex (A hellhound, the lowest rank of society). And unlike Asmo, she’s OPEN about it. It’s implied Asmo has a relationship with Fizz. But it’s confirmed that Bee and Tex are dating. And as Tex said “her business ain’t mine” when referring to Verosika. Blitz is his boss’s enemy and ex, but he still worries about his well-being.
Overall, I think the introduction of Bee was to show not all Sins are the same. And for all we know, Bee could become an important ally to I.M.P due to her not caring about the hierarchy (hopefully 🤞)
Bee definitely let him win considering how giant she can grow and being the symbol of gluttony its safe to assume your stomach would be probably borderline bottomless. All he took was a few quick intakes before declaring he won since like she said later his mood she could feel was off. It was surprisingly considerate.

Something I just noticed watching your reaction again. Bee spends all her time while going around the party guests, especially during the 'Cotton Candy' song, actually pouring drinks down throats and such. But she doesn't do anything even close to that with Loona. She encourages her to get lit but doesn't so much as tip Loona's as yet untouched drink upwards when she touched the cup. It's the subtle things that show a person's character and while you've always gotta remember that she's a Deadly Sin I think she's on the cuddly side right next to Lucifer and 'behind the scenes' Ozzy.
From my guess, Bee needs that honey people make when being gluttonous and turns it into the alcoholic drink that we've seen before. The same drink Verosika was sipping on that turned that fish into a monster kaiju.
I dont think she is a evil character, but she does have a job and business to uphold and that is gluttony.
But she wants to make sure people are having a good time and being gluttonous for happy reasons. Instead of Blitz who was trying to drown his pain.

So now we've seen or heard of five of the seven Princes of Hell: Ozzy, Bee, Belle, Satan, and Lucifer (Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Wrath, and Pride). Just missing Viv's versions of Mammon and Leviathan (Greed and Envy). While it seems that there are imps native to each ring, some rings seem to have unique demon types (hellhounds for gluttony and whatever shark thing Fishfuck Chaz was supposed to be).
I love that the B-word is such a bad word for Hellhounds, but someone like Bee can say it and no one (outwardly) seems to care. Double standards is always fun to see in fiction.

Bee, AKA Queen Bee-lzebub the Deadly Sin of Gluttony/indulgence. Her character according to Viv, as with the other Sins when you meet them, is based off various circus acts and hers is the Animal Tamer hence all of the jumping hoops in the place. Gluttony is not just a sin of eating, but a sin of overindulgence, which means here sphere is not just food but anything you might overindulge in for purely pleasurable aspects. When she is singing she talks about them making her that 'Honey' which you see the massive tank below the floor. Best guess is that as she throws these parties, the energy of pure pleasure and indulgence turns into the honey that she feeds on, which is why she can taste the flavor od those in her parties and why she didn't like what Blitz was doing to himself there as he was indulging for self destructive and toxic reasons.
Also she references Belphagore the Deadly Sin of Sloth who we will likely meet in a future episode who Bee steals party drugs from.
13:32 she's actually higher up the social hierarchy than the overlords are since she, like Asmodeus, is one of the Sins. I think they're like the second-highest ranking demons whereas overlords just above sinners but below the Ars Goetia. it seems only Charlie, Lilith and Lucifer are above her in rank

After the Circus episode I personally developed a muilti-part theory. 1.) "Earth Years" and "Hell Years" aren't separate time scales, they are the same. 2.) Demon royalty has been killed in conflicts with Heaven and both titles and names are passed down. This way the Stolas we know is only around 36 years old, The Stolas mentioned in the Key of Solomon being a predecessor. It might be the same for Beelzebub that she is the current Beelzebub, perhaps born a hell hound and like a bee fed royal jelly so she could inherit the titles. Also I guess if someday Octavia has a son he'll be named Stolas?
I also think she is a emotion vore, she says energy is tasty and she can smell moods, she likely feeds on emotional energy and feels others feelings. She turns most of it into Beezlejuice which is alcoholic, like bees make nectar into honey. She keeps the party always going because it makes her feel good and makes the Beezlejuice stronger. She speaks rapid fire because she feels lots of extra emotion, which also makes her empathetic, she can feel he hurt Blitz is drowning in alcohol. Some said she drugs her guests, what which is kind of ture but she does so with sugar and booze. Nothing to make people freak out or be depressed.
Not even a minute into Cotton Candy and you're reaction to this immediately became my favorite ever, and I've seen just about every one of them.

This episode was an absolute delight. I'm glad we got our Loona episode, and Beelzebub was a really cool character. I don't know how likely it is, but I hope we see her again. It'd be nice for Loona to give her a chance. I feel like they could be pretty good friends. But poor Blitz, man. Watching Ozzie's this episode, and The Circus back to back hits hard ;; Also a really neat detail I haven't seen anyone point out is that the imp that recognized Blitz was transmasc. He had a splotch of brown hair and slim black horns. He was also sitting with a trans lady when Loona found Blitz with Dennis.

So now we have met 2 of the 7 deadly sins(3 if you count Lucifer in the Hazbin Hotel Pilot) those being Asmodeus and Bee. Its kind of weird that despite them being the 7 most important Demons in Hell we know next to nothing about them for example Satan ruler of Wrath has been mentioned a million times but all we know about him is that according to Bee he is hot and they are like brother and sister(also yes in this Lucifer and Satan are 2 different people them being the same person is actually a fairly recent interpretation of the story), then we have Mammon ruler of Greed whose face we saw all the way back in Loo Loo Land(he owned the place) and his silhouette has been teased so he seems to be appearing sometime soon(he also seems to have an Australian accent because the tease of him has a quote from him "Decorate me ya' bloody cunts!"), Belphegor ruler of Sloth is hells main healthcare she also wont let Bee steal from her stash of drugs, and Leviathan ruler of Envy I think thats all we know about him. I get that neither of the shows are about them but with as important as they are you would think we would at least know what they look like by now
I kind of enjoy the slow burn of the reveals, though! it keeps things fresh ^^

Another thing - Bee's honey is sold as Beelzejuice, and that's exactly what Verosika drank in ep. 3 and what caused the fish to mutate.

I have a personal theory/headcanon that Nevaeh Evol actually gave some voice to on their reaction.
Basically my thinking on it is that Queen Bee is not the original/first Beelzebub, but a Hellhound that usurped the Ringlord's crown by some means and replaced the previous order of doing things with their own. This is why Bee looks very canid (fennec fox) with some insectoid attributes like the additional set of arms and the lash and ear fur tufts that resemble antennae. I won't get too far into my thoughts on that possible past as most of it is me fanboying over Bee and extrapolating on their basically good but very extroverted personality.
But her originally coming from the same stock as 'Tex would explain a lot for her openly dating him (as opposed to Asmodeus/Fizz which hints and signs have shown to be kind of an open secret), after all she does embody Gluttony, and as far as lovers go...if smooth talking easy going Chad wolfs are her thing...that's an all you can eat buffet right there.
I love your thought process! I feel like she just looks so different from the Sins we've seen thus far and, although it's possible that theyre just a smorgasbord of creature aesthetics, it would be way more interesting to have that old money/young blood dynamic in the higher ups

The design on Queen Bee being Hellhound-ish and insectoid at the same time makes me wonder if she is not the original Beelzebub. Hear me out on this. While she's obviously doing Hell's work here, feeding on the overindulgence of her party guests (Keep Makin That Honey!) she is very empathetic and seems truly interested that everyone at her parties is having the time of their lives. (And doing so for the right reasons, as evidenced by her deciding that Blitz was sus after some exposure, and suggesting that he get help not just get kicked out.)
This is in direct opposition to how we've seen other Ring Princes handling their real estate, so I have the deep cut theory that this Queen Bee was originally just a Hellhound, albeit a potent one, and somehow overthrew and usurped the prior Beelzebub who was a literal Queen Bee lord of unhealthy excess and lax in seeing to the wants of her Ring in a productive way. Usurping the Crown pushed the insectile traits on Bee, and her new system of parties for fun and profit was born. Additionally, she's in a steady and apparently stable and healthy relationship with Vortex, a Hellhound strongman, and this relationship and her respect for him is very telling...as the Princes/Princesses are the highest rung in Hell, and the lore of the show has revealed that the 'Hounds are commonly viewed as the lowest, even being condescended to by imps.
Additional deep cut detail, her 'moral quandary' over finding her 'Brother' hot and then considering that she 'Could hit that' because they actually are not related. Addition to that thought I had put forward in other theory posts. She started the conversation with Loona looking to invite her into she and Tex's relationship, (hey it's Hell wouldn't surprise me if they're Swingers) but after getting one whiff of how awkward and uncomfortable Loona was feeling, divulged her own Awkward Story(tm) to Loona to further relate with her and show they had things in common other than sharing a like for 'Tex. Of course she got sucked into her own logic rabbit hole and spent nearly 5 seconds remembering all the Shirtless Satan memories she had before coming back to the party.

I know Lucifer is my current spirit animal, but Queen Bee-lzebub has my favorite aesthetic so far! It took so long to release because music production is a bitch. And not THAT kind of bitch. She is a Sin. As in seven deadly. The tip top, she only has like 3 people stronger than her in all of hell. And I think being one of the sins, more or less a god in hell, she can look however she wants. She is around hounds so she opts to look hound like.
I now know the Sin stuff to be Canon, but is the control of her general shape canon?? she seems to be able to change her colors and size on a whim (or maybe size is just an emotional based change) but I haven't seen much in regards to specifically shape-shifting!
