The Westbrook trade has scared this front office so much. They got burned with that and are scared to take a risk again. They would rather be a mediocre team and let the rest of the West pass them by than get burned in a trade again even if the other team is offering a first round draft pick. We has done bad contracts in the past and now all of a sudden we just want to worry about growing young talent yet we have no young talent on the team. This is why they love Reeves because they want to say they developed him into something but he is a solid role player at best

I feel like Zach Lavine and lakers are inevitable. Bulls have a hard time trading him and lakers are having a hard time trading for a star role player. Maybe they pull the trigger and get Lavine. Use those picks to go get another piece. I’d still rather get brandon Ingram even if I have to give up a pick. Lavine is the better fit but Ingram is younger and a better 2 way player.

Taking in a fringe all-star that is injury prone, when you already have two big superstar contracts is a bad idea, because you have to give up more depth to take him in. Imagine him getting hurt, and now you also have less depth. That and the fact we have AD, who is injury prone, and LBJ has to pace himself in the regular season, is just a perfect recipe for disaster.

The Bulls don’t appear to have made any progress on the Zach LaVine trade front, according to ESPN’s Bobby Marks. Chicago has made an effort this offseason to find a taker for LaVine, but hasn’t found many teams with interest - even if a draft pick is attached to the two-time All-Star.
“Literally, there is no market for Zach LaVine,” Marks said. “They are trying to give him away and attach a first-round pick. I’ve been told that by multiple people.”
According to a report from Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Chicago Bulls are hoping to use the two second-round draft picks they acquired from trading DeMar DeRozan to be used in a trade for Zach LaVine. Here is the exact excerpt from Cowley's article.
"And the Bulls still have two-time All-Star Zach LaVine, whom they’re still actively trying to trade, even though his maximum contract and injury history make him a difficult sell," Cowley said. "The hope is that the two second-round picks the Bulls got from trading DeRozan can now be attached to a LaVine package."
