I joined Scouts Canada and the next Forty-three years would challenge my survival, teach me to be a protector of youth, and test me up to this present moment in Earth's history and humanities to become A SCOUT & PRIEST PROTECTOR OF OUR WORLD. This beautiful song that John Denver wrote, and gave with his heart to UNICEF aided me and strengthened me back then to SURVIVE AND LIVE. As all his songs do. But this ONE is UNIQUELY SPECIAL. Of all of John's songs, "Rhymes and Reasons" is my absolute favourite, even more then "Country Road" which I do like a lot but there is just something about "Rhymes and Reasons' that just gets to me and can't stop listening to it. There is the lyrics, the poetic imagery of it and almost a sadness about the music of this song that gets to me.
