vw 73 super beetle a new fuel pump

it's good to have old blue back on the road again. went with the brosol. midway cost wise between the dasparts (china) and the pierberg (europe?) and made in brasil.

you can mix salt, vinegar and hydrogen peroxide heat to a boil , then brush some on the pump. it will age it a bit.

not sure i'd mix the hydrogen peroxide with the other 2 but since vinegar is an acid and is contained in, for example, ketchup - how about painting on a bit of ketchup and letting that sit on things for a while?

i use it to etch copper or to plate metal with copper. it also induces rust when applied lightly.@@redshirt-scotty
