- I bought a 2020 Dodge Charger Scat Pack! This car is awesome. Not only is it a 4 door sedan, which means it is family friendly, but it has a freakin 392 HEMI under the hood! I previously had a different car for commuting, but I sold it and I am so glad I did. The Dodge Charger with the 392 Hemi can go from 0-60 in 4.3 seconds. I was able to get it to 4.5 seconds in this video with two people in the car, two car seats, and some other junk in the trunk. The crazy thing is, the power just spins the tires for the first few seconds! I know I can get the 0-60 time down to 4.3 if I was the only one in the car. I am looking forward to taking the Charger out to the drag strip and seeing what the 1/4 mile time, 1/8 mile time, top speed, and see if I can improve the 0-60 time as well.
I do plan on doing some performance upgrades to see if we can make this car go faster, but nothing CRAZY. At least not in the near future.
The LS Swap on the Jeep Wrangler is still underway! Putting the engine back together this week, which means the videos coming up are going to be focused more on the Jeep specific aspects of this LS Swap. We are waiting for some parts to come in the mail, and once they arrive, it will almost be time to start pulling out the good ole 4.0 engine from the Jeep LJ and putting in the LS Engine.

Been in Law Enforcement for 26 years and in 2006 we started a Traffic Division with just me of which we eventually built and I supervised for many years. In later part of 2006 I got our first Charger which was a 2007 and it was also our first slick top. Back then there were very few Chargers out especially in law enforcement vehicles and the looks I got we amazing. I was in all kind of parades. Stopped at a gas station one day and when I came out some guy said ‘isn’t that the most damn intimidating police car you have ever seen’ and I replied ‘I hope so’. Our area is a very large tourist area and right after I got it I was in a Christmas parade and the women were yelling and ask if they could ride in it and the men would give thumbs up. Good times back then and I liked it so much that my wife bought me an 07 for my birthday in spring of following year. The local radio station nicknamed me ‘chargerman’ which has stuck to this day. Sadly the cruiser which eventually went to a School Resource Office and he recently totaled it and I sold mine a few years back but I do miss them both. Very nice one you bought and thanks for bring back some memories. Just three weeks ago I bought a new 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST with a blackout package and the 5.3 and it rumbles a little but not like the Charger, however, I do love the truck and it looks sporty. Performance upgrades: the rear tires as you mentioned, Hellcat air duct for the OEM airbox intake, throttle body, and long tube headers if you're seeking HP. CAI, exhaust, and shorty headers are minimal HP gains for its price point.

I have a challenger scat! But I love it!! So far I have simple mods, drag radials on 17’s in the rear, long tubes, cat delete, magnaflow exhaust, Barton shifter, tune on E85, 700cc injectors, hellcat fuel pump, intake, ported tb and manifold! It runs amazing, but sadly I have to let her go soon as I have a little boy on the way! I’m thinking of trading in for a charger scat and transferring all of my mods!! Congrats on the beautiful car, I bet it feels like a rocket compared to all the Jeeps on 37’s🤣

Beautiful car. My little brother has a 2020 charger scatpack, but his is the stars and stripes edition. Make sure you check for paint cracking around the wheel wells.

I'm on my second charger. First was an 06 RT, currently have a 14 RT lowered on staggered fit daytona replicas with atturo 315s out back, and some other stuff too. You'll definitely notice a difference with wider tires.

I love those cars! I bought a 2018 Charger R/T Blacktop in Plum Crazy (my first new car) and I love it. I traded a 2013 Charger R/T for it. My wife drives a 300C and when we met, I had a Magnum R/T. They are great cars, tons of fun to drive. It’s safe to say we are fans of the Chrysler LX platform. Congratulations! Octane Red is awesome!

Rubicon 392 is my next purchase. Will finally replace my 2002 TJ that I have been rocking for the past 18 years. Incidentally that TJ was also the last vehicle I bought new from a dealer as well. Super excited Jeep finally put a v8 back in the Wranglers.

I agree, Im usually not a fan of red cars either. Went to deership to order a 392 in Silver and saw the Octain Red on the showroom floor and the sunlight was hitting it just right.......needless to say I took home the Octain Red one off the showroom that evening. Even made a video about it. Lol. Beautiful color. You're gonna love this car. Ive done 172mph in ECO mode.

Great. Video and you guys seem like really nice people. I have a 2020 Charger Scatpack too, the only mod so far was adding the Mopar air intake; I doubt that it really added much HP or torque but I do get pretty good gas mileage overall. I really hoped I would hear the air swoosh into the engine from the air filter but the car is so well insulated that I can’t hear it.
I added red LED lights in the footwell wired from the lights already present from the factory and they look great and are controlled from the dash light rocker switch.
Overall I absolutely love this car; I compare it to the Audi S5 but 30K cheaper.
I also added a focal sub in the trunk in an enclosure from Skar audio that is fiberglass and fits perfectly in the fender well; it makes the alpine audio system sound amazing
Overall, I couldn’t be happier after 10k miles
I also have 2019 wrangler rubicon and would die to have the Hemi in it but I’m not sure I will spend the money next year when the lease is up.

If you haven’t yet, look at it in the sun with polarized sunglasses. It absolutely glows! Have a 17 daytona in the same color, and get plenty of compliments and notes on the windshield
I had a '16 scatpack and I currently have a '18. My wife & I LOVE this car!!!! Tons of fun, lots of power, plenty of room, etc. Neither of us can say anything negative about this car. I'm positive that you will love it as much as we do!!! I'm chiming in because I want to warn you about doing any performance upgrades to a 6.4L other than a "Cold Air Intake" or wider tires. There is a reason that the HellCat or Redeye or Demon improved on the 6.2L and not the 6.4L. The reason is this: The 6.4L engine is already heavily pushing the limits of the bottom end of this motor. If you even upgrade the ignition, put radial slicks, upgrade the computer to give it a hotter tune, etc. YOU WILL BLOW UP THE ENGINE!!! Unless you rebuild the bottom end with forged components. The cost of this is more expensive than buying a used 6.2L & performance upgrade parts combined. Sell the 6.4L and put the money into the purchase of a 6.2L. Good luck!!! I will be watching. Love the channel.

Thats definitely the best bang for the buck in the Charger/Challenger lineup...drive it for a while get some revenue then trade it in for a wide body hellcat version (rather than try and supercharge that one)! Can't wait for the 392 Wrangler, the hybrid one will be fun too!
There is no way people will buy a bronco over a jeep wrangler v8, and later Gladiator-Hemi 6.4 in 2023.

Wow did you make it to a gas station?Because 5:39😂 I have a 392 as well and on track/sport it guzzles gas like nothing and you’re driving it with so little 😧😂
just went to the strip in mine for the first time i have 275/40 tires all around and i got around 8 seoncd 1/8 and in the 1/4 was around 12.1-12.6 i would say get 305s in the rear i still spin in 275s and you can get a mid muffler delete if you want for better sound. welcome to the hemi family
