This video takes you on a brief tour of the gorgeous hill in Athens, Greece known as The Hill of the Muses for absolutely stunning views of the Acropolis.
It's incredible (and humbling) to think that the ancient Athenians who built the Acropolis would likely never guess that the magnificent edifice they built would one day be the direct center of a huge and bustling metropolis, far larger than the city they knew. The sight of it on camera is awe-inspiring as it is. I could only imagine what it'll be like when I see it for myself. Thank you for this video. I'll most definitely give this hike a try when I'm there!
Thanks so much and glad you enjoyed it! Just got some marvelous footage from Mycenae and Epidaurus yesterday. Excited to share that experience with you!
Oh my gosh! 💯 It's so amazing. You're giving me goosebumps... It's absolutely breathtaking, cannot imagine even actually being there. Say hi to Athena & Apollo if you maybe run into them! 😉
You just *have* to come and see it all for yourself one day. It is like wandering through the loveliest of dreams. So excited to share more with you. Mycenae and Epidaurus were absolutely gorgeous and awe-inspiring yesterday.
I’m enjoying seeing these vistas so much! I really love the sense of serenity you capture in these little clips. So nice to be able to see these places I’ve always wanted to visit… just fuels my for to go there, even more! 🔥
While you’re in Athens, you should visit the Museum of the Acropolis, then the Museum of Cycladic and Minoan Art. Follow that with visiting the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology Kotsanas. Lastly, you definitely have to visit the National Archeological Museum of Athens; and while in there, DO NOT forget to checkout the museums Antikythera Shipwreck treasures, which includes the most amazing advanced Ancient artifact ever discovered, which is the Antikythera Mechanism.
Thanks so much! As it happens, I have been to almost all these places and will post a video about them. Excellent selection. I haven’t seen the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology though-that sounds incredible!
@@TinyEpics The Museum of Ancient Greek/Hellenic Technology is relatively close to the numismatic museum of Athens, which is another great museum I didn’t mention. It’s located on Pindarou Στ It shows most of the recorded Ancient Hellenic inventions, and has real life replicas you can interact with
My Friend.. many of us have been connected as of late. For what reason? I am unsure… But this is real. The stuff of Revolutions & Empires… I but hope your place in this Monomyth is one you find peace in.

Around which months were you travelling? It looks less crowded and busy
I posted this video the day after I took the footage on March 26th :-) I'm still here in Greece until a while.
