It's incredible (and humbling) to think that the ancient Athenians who built the Acropolis would likely never guess that the magnificent edifice they built would one day be the direct center of a huge and bustling metropolis, far larger than the city they knew. The sight of it on camera is awe-inspiring as it is. I could only imagine what it'll be like when I see it for myself. Thank you for this video. I'll most definitely give this hike a try when I'm there!

While you’re in Athens, you should visit the Museum of the Acropolis, then the Museum of Cycladic and Minoan Art.
Follow that with visiting the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology Kotsanas.
Lastly, you definitely have to visit the National Archeological Museum of Athens; and while in there, DO NOT forget to checkout the museums Antikythera Shipwreck treasures, which includes the most amazing advanced Ancient artifact ever discovered, which is the Antikythera Mechanism.

Thanks so much! As it happens, I have been to almost all these places and will post a video about them. Excellent selection. I haven’t seen the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology though-that sounds incredible!

The Museum of Ancient Greek/Hellenic Technology is relatively close to the numismatic museum of Athens, which is another great museum I didn’t mention. It’s located on Pindarou Στ
It shows most of the recorded Ancient Hellenic inventions, and has real life replicas you can interact with

My Friend.. many of us have been connected as of late. For what reason? I am unsure… But this is real. The stuff of Revolutions & Empires… I but hope your place in this Monomyth is one you find peace in.
