(thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn
As a Rolex owner, I would freak out if my watch disappeared. Sooo lucky this guy found it.

Good going Mike! Honesty pays off doesn't it.. ( From a 65' US ARMY disabled Vet) -we have a 90 day law here, find anything of value and have to turn it into PD-Lost and Found, if not claimed in 90 days you get it back ..Now I have normally just do Ski Diving in our Fresh water Resort lake and find alot of stuff, as several honey Holes , but I wait till Mid August before doing that.( to lets things add up) but never used a Metal dector-- what kind do you recommend in say 10-30 ft of water- Not scuba diving either-- .. and going to giving a Pinpointer a try-- but best do scuba so can stay down longer, but they don't allow that in this lake.. was also thinking of bringing a Short handled steel rake to pull thru the Sand bottom we have in these spots( rest of the lake is Gravel ..among the use designer SunGlasses ( 42-$500 retial, i sell for $25-$50 at our annual Aret and crafts show in town in our Prak) find Collers( still sealed and Fresh food, wallet some Money and Purses inside them and lots of cell phones and even I find at least 1 Boat ancher with Chain and rope still attached! every time I go out( ave 3 mornings a week when nobody is here, only on wknds..( Its a Resort town / Playground for the Weahty and summer mansions on the lake only 90 Miles from Chicago rich Burbs.. Only need a Detector that I can use in 20-30 ft of water.. buy One of them Garret Models or try a Lower cost one first? Thanks Mike and keep on Detecting! DTM in Wi.

@Flame Playz There are Rolexes out there without diamonds that cost far above 10k. There are even plastic watches that cost above 100k. Richard Mille makes some of them. In some cases branding impacts the price way more than the cost of production. In a world empty of idiots and immoral people cost of production would define the price. But because we live in a world full of idiots and immoral people, a sweater with the "Supreme" logo costs 100x more than a sweater made of exact same fabric but without the logo.

Awesome hunt, if your unsure of what kind of metal, scan with your equinox when you home and it should give you some clue as to what kind of metal its made of depending on what range its in on the display.

@@MichaelOliverLJR I also watch Jake's channel and love his underwater photography. I think bcuz he does deeper ocean dives and natural springs and lakes, u could learn more about his video style. Likewise I think he could learn a thing or two from u about metal detection as he only recently started using his and doesn't focus only on that. He does a variety of different things. Really, just a variety of any kind of water exploration. He does a lot of diving with his scuba gear. That would be a wonderful collab and I think u both have something similar, but totally different and unique styles at the same time! Worth the trip! Plus you've been wanting to come to the U.S. He's in Georgia, but his buddy "Jiggin With Jordan" is in Florida and they are there together alot. Their other friend is Yappy Twan Twan (Tristan) and not sure where he lives (Alabama maybe?). That would be a fun video with all of u together! Maybe they could get u out on the jet skis or Fossil Tooth Hunting. You guys could do a whole series together and/or separate with each one of them. Lots of content from one trip!
